Unser sachkundiges Personal beantwortet alle Fragen, während wir die unglaubliche Unterwasserwelt erkunden. Ihr Einkauf bei uns trägt zum Schutz der Riffsysteme und zur Unterstützung der einheimischen Costa-Ricaner bei. Außerdem werden Sie jede Menge Spaß haben! Sie werden Meeresschildkröten, viele Fische, Delfine, Wale, Mantas, Seevögel und einheimische Korallen beobachten. Nach dem Schnorcheln genießen Sie unsere köstlichen Snacks und Erfrischungen und haben die Möglichkeit, den berühmten „Beluga Jump“ vom Dach des Bootes zu machen! Schließlich kehren wir mit unglaublichen Erinnerungen, die für immer bleiben werden, ans Ufer zurück.

I did a family private snorkeling tour with Pura Vida Snorkeling for my family of 4. The trip was very good, even though it was a bit windy that day. The crew were super helpful, especially helping my wife, who is a bit hesitant getting into the water. Our guide found a small octopus just after we got in, and we all had a chance to hold it. The beach pickup was very convenient for us. We had home made guac and chips, with pineapple and drinks in between snorkel sites. Over all this was a great trip. I would recommend this team. We also did a 1/2 day fishing trip with them on their Salsa fishing boat.
My family of 4 went snorkeling with Pura Vida snorkeling this morning and had an amazing time. We had a great guide and captain who took us to 2 different snorkeling spots. Both spots were great and we saw a ton of different fish. The guide was great at pointing out interesting fish and even pulled up an octopus for us to see! Great snacks were provided between sites including a ceviche made with oysters that were collected while snorkeling! Highly recommend Pura Vida snorkeling for a fun and safe day on the water!

This company was a no show and our calls went unanswered for 30 minutes. Eventually they messaged through WhatsApp saying they didn’t pick us up due to an emergency. Highly doubtful given that all of the locals at the beach and the marina said this company leaves people stranded everyday. We spent an hour and a lot of money getting to this location for our scheduled tour. The company offered a tour later that day but our kids were too nervous that the whole thing was a scam so we called it a loss and worked with our hotel to arrange snorkeling. Good luck for those booking a tour with this company, it’s a gamble…
Hello, We apologize your experience… even though you didn’t even do it this previous experience before getting to us was not the best. We are the people, the locals, our community is one of the biggest in Flamingo, and everyone is open to help us and support our customers, either is the parking, helping the customers, in the boats or the snorkeling spots. Thousands of people have done this tour and have the best snorkeling experience of their lives. We apologize again.
We had such a fun day snorkeling at a couple of different spots. The snacks were delicious, and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience from start to finish - highly recommend!
We had an amazing day with Frank! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the marine life we were seeing. We saw dolphins and rays jumping, sea turtles mating (🫣) and so many bright and colorful fish while snorkeling. We even caught a skipjack tuna and while we were snorkeling, Frank prepared us a delicious sashimi plate with avocado and a side of chips and fresh guacamole. Perfect morning on the Pacific!
Captain Frank is the best! The entire experience was amazing. Our whole family had fun snorkeling and relaxing on a secluded beach. We saw a wide array of marine life including turtles and a devil ray flipping by the boat. There were plenty of refreshments including fresh cut pineapple and guacamole that Frank made while we were swimming. Pura Vida!
Our experience was private because no one else signed up for this snorkeling experience. They provided equipment, although we had our own. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and interesting. He pointed out the many beaches on the way. The snorkeling experience however was not the best, no fault of the captain. The water was murky at the two locations we visited and there were not many different types of fish which were basically small.
Our 2 x families of four had a terrific experience. The two spots were great and we saw lots of sea life. The snorkeling equipment they provided was brand new. Our captain Frank and his crew were very kind and offered excellent snacks. Pro tip: the second spot by the beach is much calmer than the first one by the rocks, so if you have folks who get seasick you'll want to spend the bulk ofyour time near the beach.
Best snorkeling guide in Playa Flamingo, hands down. Took our family to beautiful snorkeling sites and felt like we were swimming in an aquarium! Frank even took the time to stop and catch a fish with my son!

Had a great time snorkeling with Captain Frank and the crew. They took us to out of the way locations and swam with us to find puffer fish, eels, starfish and numerous sea creatures. They went out of their way to Mike our trip enjoyable! Highly recommend them!
