Eine Route durch die berühmteste Geschichte Madrids: seine Tavernen. Mehr als 100 und 200 Jahre alte Räumlichkeiten sind lebendige Geschichte der Stadt. Einige haben Könige, Schriftsteller oder Künstler beim Essen und Trinken gesehen und andere die unteren Klassen. Unter ihnen entdecken sie die tiefsten Bräuche unserer Stadt, ihre Anekdoten, die Lebensweise der Menschen und die unzähligen Dinge, die ihre Mauern gesehen haben. Natürlich können wir anhalten, um einen Wein / ein Bier in einem von ihnen zu probieren! Mit dem ältesten Restaurant der Welt und einer unvergleichlichen Tradition in der Welt der Bars ist Madrid zweifellos eine Stadt, die auch durch ihre berühmtesten Tavernen und Restaurants bekannt sein muss. * Die Route kann variieren. Restaurant von 1839, berühmt dafür, dass hier die Hocharistokratie Madrids lebte, darunter die Könige, aber auch Künstler, Schriftsteller und Intellektuelle. Ein Ort voller Geschichte, der innen wie ein Palast aussieht.
Taverne von 1860, sehr beliebt, wo die Menschen seit Jahrhunderten ihre Tapas und Stöcke zu einem guten Preis genießen. Es hat auch eine merkwürdige Verbindung zur spanischen Politik.
Eines der ältesten Geschäfte in Madrid: 1610. Auch wenn es sich nicht um eine Taverne handelt, werden wir viele Dinge über die populäre Geschichte und den Unterschied zwischen Gasthäusern und Tavernen verstehen.
Restaurant Botín. Das älteste Restaurant der Welt (im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde eingetragen) und eine Institution in Madrid. Die restlichen Einzelheiten überlassen wir der Tour.
Es wurde 1895 gegründet und ist eine der traditionsreichsten und persönlichsten Tavernen der Hauptstadt. Sehr verwandt mit der Welt der Bullen.
Bekannt als die Taverne der drei Jahrhunderte, wurde sie 1884 von einem Stierkämpfer gegründet, aber in einer früheren Taverne aus dem Jahr 1787. Voller Geschichte ist sein "französischer Wein" wahrscheinlich nicht das, was Sie erwarten.

Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and professional and we had the best tour. He made it fun but full of great history and little facts about Madrid.
Diana was so sweet and showed us stuff that we would never have known if we didn't go on this tour. I am so glad I started out with this tour as it gave us a great understanding of local perspective. The weekend we went was extremely busy, but it was a lot of fun. All the taverns knew our guide and we got to see secret spots. A must do if you like to learn about local drinks and tapa's.
Guido was a very pleasant and enthusiastic guide. He provided a great history tour and in depth knowledge of the best places for refreshments.The places we stopped in for drinks and eats were great.
We had such a great afternoon. Our tour included so much more information than just the taverns. We learned about the story behind each place, and the history of Spain at the time of their opening. It was very enjoyable and during our stay we returned to these places for lunch or dinner. Our guide was great, the meeting location was very convenient.

Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour of some of the oldest taverns in Madrid, including the oldest continuously operated restaurant in the world. The tour guide was thoroughly engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with Enrique. He is a fun-loving guy with lots of knowledge about the oldest taverns of Madrid. On every stop, he'd have a bunch of random Spanish history to throw in as well. So we learned a lot about tapas and taverns, but also a lot about Spain and Madrid.

In the company of Jaime we discovered the history of the taverns of Madrid. His proposal goes beyond the usual sightseeing tours, tells you anecdotes and curiosities that are not found in the history books. I recommend it to everyone, a fun and interesting tour!!
I had already taken a guided tour with Jaime a couple of years ago. I loved it that time and this one was absolutely great too. I have been in Madrid all my life but Jaime, through the story told in a fun and entertaining way, rediscovers this city and above all the world of taverns! I think it is a great plan always but more in this time we have to live with covid, since it is outdoors and they have gathered the number of people for each visit. Thanks Jaime!
