Beschreibung
Private Tour durch den Ring of Kerry in einem Pkw mit einem erfahrenen Fortgeschrittener. Die Tour ist privat, so dass wir sie anpassen und Orte besuchen können, die nicht für große Tourbusse verfügbar sind. Orte wie Kerry Cliffs, die bis zu 1K Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel liegen und unsere Klippen sind höher als Cliffs of Moher.

Kenmare
Kenmare Stadt (Ceann Marakopf des Meeres) Früher Neidin-kleines Nest. Stadt der Piraten und Schmuggler aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert. Charmante Stadt, entworfen von Sir Oliver William Petty, dem dieses Gebiet als Teil der Zahlung für die Kartierung Irlands gewährt wurde. Er legte 1670 eine moderne Stadt an. Jetzt wird die Stadt Kenmare von vielen Menschen besucht, weil sie schön ist.
Coomakista, Spitze der Iveragh-Halbinsel. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Kenmare Bay (Derrynane Bay) und die Scariff- und Deenish-Inseln, von Einheimischen genannt Der Stier, die Kuh und ein Kalb. Auch Abbey Island mit Ruinen von Abbey und Friedhof. Es gibt nur bei Ebbe Zugang. Auf der anderen Seite sehen wir Ballinskellig Bay und Waterville Town, wo Charlie Chaplin seine Sommerferien verbracht hat.
Kerry Cliffs
Die höchsten Klippen in Kerry County, höher als die Cliffs of Moher, nur viel weniger bekannt. Dieser Ort ist ein echtes verstecktes Juwel von South Kerry. Bis zu 1000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel, atemberaubende Aussicht. Bei gutem Wetter können wir die Skellig-Inseln sehen. Insel Skellig Michael mit mysteriösen Bienenstockhütten, die zuvor von Mönchen aus dem 5. Jahrhundert und möglicherweise zuvor von keltischen Druiden bewohnt wurden. Die zweite Insel heißt kleiner Skellig. Wildvogelschutzgebiet. Über 40.000 Nester von Wildvögeln, hauptsächlich Papageientaucher und Tölpel.
Ballycarbery Castle
Wunderschöne und charmante Ruinen der Burg Carberry O'Shea aus dem Jahr 1598. 1651-52 von den Streitkräften des Parlaments abgestürzt.
Cahergall Fort
Steinfestung aus dem 5. - 6. Jahrhundert, nur mit Ausgleichsstein erbaut, ohne Mörtel. Sehr beeindruckende, detailreiche antike Konstruktion.
Valentia Island Car Ferry
Ein bisschen Fahrt durch das Wasser. Manchmal mit Delfinen. Von Knights Town nach Cahersiveen.
Kerry Bog Village Museum
Dorfmuseum aus dem 18. 19. Jahrhundert. Guter Ort, um sich darauf zu konzentrieren, wie wir in der Vergangenheit gelebt haben. Kerry Bog Village ist ein Ort, der sich an die große Hungersnot in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts erinnert. Traditionelle Strohdachhäuser, die nach verbrannter Grube riechen, werden die Besucher ins 19. Jahrhundert führen.

The Highlight of our Ireland holiday
The highlight of our holiday in Ireland. Piotr was an absolute gem of a tour guide; knowledgeable, patient and an incredibly skilled driver. He took us to places tour buses can't get to and places we would never have driven to ourselves. Extremel comfortable car and we were with Piotr for roughly 9 hours. The tour was well worth the cost. Thank you for an amazing and memorable experience! 🙂

Superb Ring of Kerry Tour (Clockwise)
This experience allowed my bride and I to truly enjoy and take in the sights, and also uncovered many great stops that we would have never known. Piotr (Peter) was a fabulous and knowledgeable driver…very well done and highly recommended!

Ring of Kerry must do!
What a fantastic day we had today! Peter was a wonderful tour guide! We were originally a little unsure about the expense of this tour, but we are very glad we took the plunge! Firstly, this is a private tour and you're in a van. This smaller vehicle allows access to places the big tour busses just can't get to. Additionally, you're not stuck with 80-100 of your "closest friends!" 😉 Peter, will tailor your trip to see the sights you really wish to see, so you don't have to spend hours doing/seeing stuff you really didn't want to do/see. One last thing- the Kerry Cliffs are a must see destination. Check any tour that you're considering carefully. They don't all go there! Don't let the price scare you off, this tour is well worth every penny!

From the time Richard...
From the time Richard picked us up at our hotel we felt like we were traveling with a friend. He customized our trip around the things we wanted to see during the day. We went to places that the tour buses could not go, making the crowds non existent. I would highly recommend booking with Peter.
