Wir holen Sie sehr früh am Morgen ab und beginnen eine einstündige Fahrt nach Pamplona. Während der Reise gibt Ihnen Ihr Reiseleiter eine Einführung in die Geschichte der Region, die lokalen Traditionen und was Sie im Laufe des Tages erwartet. In kürzester Zeit sind Sie in Pamplona, der Hauptstadt von Navarra, angekommen. Die Überreste der turbulenten Geschichte der Stadt sind fast an jeder Ecke zu finden. Pamplona wurde im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Von den Römern auf einem großen Plateau gegründet. Vom 4. bis 9. Jahrhundert wurde es von Westgoten und Muslimen kontrolliert und im Mittelalter zur Hauptstadt des Königreichs Navarra. Heute ist Pamplona eine Universitätsstadt, die für die farbenfrohen Feste von San Fermin berühmt ist.
Vom Parkplatz aus gehen wir direkt zu der Straße in der historischen Teilstraße, in der der Bullenlauf stattfindet. Die Bewohner, deren Häuser zufällig entlang der Strecke stehen, mieten während des Festes ihre privaten Balkone für Besucher. Auf diese Weise können wir die besten Aussichten auf den Lauf genießen! Die Besitzer lassen uns nicht nur in ihre Wohnung, sondern bereiten uns auch ein Frühstück zu! Der Bullenlauf „encierro“ ist ein spektakuläres Ereignis, bei dem Hunderte von Menschen vor einer Bullenherde durch die engen Gassen des historischen Teils von Pamplona rennen. Der Lauf endet in der Stierkampfarena, wo die Bullen bis zum Stierkampf am Nachmittag gehalten werden. Während dieser Zeit erklärt der Guide die Geschichte der Bullenläufe und alle Feierlichkeiten, die während des Festivals stattfinden.
Nachdem wir die Veranstaltung gesehen haben, verlassen wir unseren Balkon und gehen den ganzen Weg (ungefähr eine halbe Meile) von Corrales de Santo Domingo, wo der Lauf beginnt, zur Stierkampfarena, wo der Lauf endet. Während San Fermin sieht die Stadt unglaublich aus. Die Party hört nicht für eine Woche auf, aber für viele Einheimische ist der Morgen die wichtigste und angenehmste Zeit des Tages. Genauso wie sie werden wir in einem der Cafés eine köstliche Portion Churros mit heißer, dicker Schokolade genießen! Gegen 11:00 Uhr morgens können wir zurückkehren und eine malerische Straße bis nach San Sebastian genießen!

Fantastic once in a lifetime experience. Friendly and fun tour guide, lovely host for balcony viewing. Picked up from hotel and taken to centre of Pamploma. Great view of bull run.

Our trip to the first day of San Fermín festival exceeded all expectations. Seeing the bulls run was truly a once in a lifetime experience and for that morning we felt a part of the celebration. The logistics were flawlessly executed - Our guide navigated the morning of San Fermín with perfect efficiency and expertise. We parked a block away from the balcony and went directly into a local families apartment who made a traditional Basque breakfast and kept the coffee flowing all morning. After the run we walked the city and the guides took us to key spots and took awesome pictures. What truly elevated the trip was the conversation throughout the tour. Our guide was candid and passionate about the Basque Country. He let us guide the discussion and shared personal stories and cultural insights that you would never get in a group tour. Their enthusiasm was infectious, their care for the group was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having an incredible time. If you're considering a trip to San Fermín, especially from San Sebastián, we cannot recommend this tour and these guides highly enough. They transformed a bucket-list event into an unforgettable adventure!

One of the most amazing and exciting experiences of my life!! My family ranging from seniors to teens, were picked up in a luxury van and transported to Pamplona where we were ushered into an apartment with balconies overlooking the longest street of the bull run. We were served a lovely breakfast while our amazing guide, Ernes, explained everything that was going on, so we could have the fullest experience possible. After the run, he took us on a walking tour of Pamplona, and then for churros and champagne on a lively square. During the ride back to our hotel he engaged us the entire time, with history of the Basque culture and more. He was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Ernes and Ishnaki tours: a warm and knowledgeable individual who's enthusiasm and love of Basque everything was infectious. We could have NEVER experienced the day in Pamplona during San Fermin without this tour, which kept us safe and in all the right places at the right time. 10 out of 10!! Thank you Ernes!!
Amazing experience. Our guide Telmo was fantastic. His knowledge of the area, and communication skills were beyond our expectations. The balcony host family was fantastic and in a perfect location to view the run without worry of injury.
