What an epic adventure. Nothing was too much trouble for our fabulous guide Cat (kitcat) she was fun, informative, took pics all the way and dropped them to us, took detours to run us past any sights we wanted to see, or quick photo ops. It would have taken us 2 days to do what we did in a few hours with Cat - can’t recommend this tour company enough Sam fransisco jeep tours - you guys rock! Thanks for the memories!
Ekaterina (aka kit kat) was an amazing tour guide! Our first time visiting San Francisco and we were lucky to have found this tour. Ekaterina made the most of our time which allowed us to see much more than we expected! This is a definite MUST DO for anyone visiting the area and would like to see and experience a lot more in a short period of time.
Brian was great! Super knowledgeable - he told us the history of San Francisco which was great to know and made great stops on our tour. Took great pictures of us too! Love that idea of airdropping them at the end to us :)
What a perfect way to see San Francisco. We loved the jeep, our ages range from 17 to 82, and we all had a terrific time, there was something for everyone. Our tour guide, Ryan Huber, knew so much about the city and was really engaging and fun. Many Thanks, Bessie Tyrrell
Thank you so much for the kind words, Bessie! We love hearing that your group—from 17 to 82—had such a great time. That’s exactly what a private custom San Francisco tour should feel like: something for everyone, at your own pace, with plenty of laughs along the way. Brian, will be thrilled to hear the shoutout. He’s great at blending fun, local stories with just the right amount of history to bring the city (and those Muir Woods and Golden Gate Bridge stops) to life. Thanks again for choosing San Francisco Jeep Tours—proof that a private San Francisco tour really is the easiest (and most fun) way to explore the city, no matter your age range!
This was a very fun ride with a fun loving and charismatic guide. The business is a small local business in the arts district. A great short trip
Thanks so much for the awesome review! “Best part of our vacation” is the kind of thing that makes our whole team do a little happy dance in the garage. We’re thrilled JoJo helped make your private San Francisco Jeep tour such a standout experience. He has a talent for turning a custom San Francisco city tour into something that feels less like sightseeing and more like exploring the city with a very knowledgeable (and slightly over-caffeinated) local friend. Thanks again for riding with San Francisco Private Group Jeep Tours—we hope to see you back next time for round two of the city’s hills, views, and hidden gems!
Brian was an awesome tour guide for me and my 19 year old son. Alcatraz was closed which was disappointing but Brian was quick to pivot and take us to Muir Woods which was stunning and drove the us all over San Francisco including stops we didn’t even know existed! He took amazing photos and not only had a wealth of information about a city he truly loves but was engaged and curious as to what we wanted to experience finally dropping us in China town at one of his favorite restaurants for excellent Peking Duck! Thanks Again Brian Legend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much for the amazing review! We know an Alcatraz closure is never the news anyone wants to hear—but we’re glad Brian was able to pivot quickly and turn the day into an unforgettable adventure instead. That’s one of the biggest perks of a private custom tour: when plans change, the experience can change with them. We’re thrilled you and your son loved Muir Woods, the extra San Francisco stops, and the surprise hidden gems along the way (plus, of course, a proper local food recommendation to finish strong). Brian will especially appreciate the “Legend” title—we may have to get that printed on his business cards now. Thanks again for choosing San Francisco Private Group Jeep Tours for your private Muir Woods and San Francisco tour. Hope to see you back for round two… preferably with Alcatraz open next time, just to keep things interesting!
Everything about the tour was great. Brian was an excellent tour guide. I have been to San Francisco many times and there were many sites he took us to that I have never seen or experienced. Truly remarkable. I loved the facts along the way, where we learned a lot. This is actually my second time doing a tour with these guys - the first was with family, the second with a friend. Both times were excellent.
Thank you for coming back for round two—and for such a fantastic review! We love hearing that even as a repeat visitor to San Francisco, you still discovered places you’d never seen before. That’s exactly what we aim for with our private custom San Francisco and Muir Woods tours—the iconic highlights plus the spots most visitors miss. Brian will be thrilled to hear the kind words, and we’re especially honored that you chose to tour with us again. Repeat guests are one of the best compliments we can get. Thanks again for riding with San Francisco Private Group Jeep Tours—apparently once wasn’t enough, and honestly… we respect that. Looking forward to tour number three whenever you’re ready!
Brian gave us a great tour and a fun and informative day!! His knowledge of the city and the San Francisco area is remarkable. I would highly recommend this tour and company!
Thanks so much! We’re thrilled you had a great, informative day out with Brian — his local knowledge and love for San Francisco really shine on tours like this! 🌉🌲 We truly appreciate the recommendation. This tour was wonderful! Even though recent shutdowns left us unable to visit the woods, the owner and guide were amazing and worked with us to change our itinerary and we had a blast! The open air jeep was fun and they even provided blankets if we got chilled! Such a great time I would book again!
Thanks so much, Jessica! We’re so glad you still had a blast despite the unexpected Muir Woods closure. Our team always aims to keep things fun, flexible, and unforgettable—rain or shine, redwoods or detours! 😄 The open-air Jeep definitely helps. We’d love to welcome you back for the full Muir Woods experience next time! 🚙🌉🌲
