Diese Tour führt Sie von Dubrovnik nach Split mit einem Halt in Ston. Ston war nach Dubrovnik die zweitwichtigste Stadt der Republik Dubrovnik. Ston verfügt über Mauern, die zwischen dem 14. und 15. Jahrhundert errichtet wurden und sich über eine Länge von über 5 Kilometern erstrecken. Die Mauern wurden durch vierzig Türme und Bastionen befestigt. Ston verfügt außerdem über große natürliche Salzpfannen am Fuße des Ston-Kanals, wo seit Jahrhunderten Meersalz produziert wird – ein wertvolles Monopolprodukt der Republik Dubrovnik. Die Geschichte von Split ist bereits 17 Jahrhunderte alt und geht auf die Zeit zurück, als der römische Kaiser Diokletian beschloss, seinen Palast direkt auf der Halbinsel in der Nähe der großen römischen Stadt Salona zu errichten, wo er die letzten Jahre seines Lebens verbringen wollte. In diesen 1700 Jahren entwickelte sich der Palast langsam zu einer Stadt, die bis heute mit ihrer reichen Tradition, ihrer glorreichen Geschichte und der Schönheit ihres Natur- und Kulturerbes lockt. Auch Split gehört seit 1979 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.

We had an amazing transfer from Dubrovnik to Split. Stipe was on time, kind, and professional. The drive was comfortable thanks to the luxurious car, and we took pictures at a number of picturesque locations. An excellent mode of transportation between the two cities.

We booked this tour because we needed to go from Dubrovnik to Split and it was a perfect pick for us.Our guide stopped in Ston and showed us Ston and also we stopped in a little winery on the way and the red wine was amazing
