Erholen Sie sich am Ufer des Sevan-Sees, der Perle dieses Gebirgslandes und eines der größten Süßwasserseen in Eurasien. Sie besuchen auch Sevanavank, einen Klosterkomplex auf der Halbinsel Sevan. Die Halbinsel kann als der Punkt bezeichnet werden, von dem aus die gesamte Schönheit des Sevaner Sees gesehen werden kann. Sie sehen dann Dilidschan, auch "Armenische Schweiz" genannt, für seine fantastischen Naturwälder. Die Stadt ist Teil des Dilidschan-Nationalparks. Die nächste Station ist Haghartsin, ein Kloster aus dem 10. Jahrhundert, das vor kurzem von Scheich Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, dem Herrscher von Sharjah, renoviert wurde. Der Sevan-See, die Faszination und Perle des gebirgigen Armeniens, eines der größten Süßwasserseen der Welt in großer Höhe. Es liegt etwa 1900 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Der See ist vulkanischen Ursprungs und ist von 3000 m hohen Bergen umgeben. Die schöne Landschaft und das kristallklare Wasser bieten gute Voraussetzungen für eine hervorragende Erholung.
Goshavank wurde vom berühmten mittelalterlichen Wissenschaftler Mkhitar Gosh gegründet. Der Komplex besteht aus mehreren religiösen und weltlichen Gebäuden. Das konkurrenzlose Khachkar vor der einschiffigen Basilika wurde 1291 von dem geschickten Meister Poghos geschaffen. Goshavank war eines der berühmtesten religiösen und kulturellen Zentren im mittelalterlichen Armenien.
Das Kloster Haghartsin in den Wäldern der Region Tavush ist ein unbeschreibliches Beispiel für die Verschmelzung von Natur und Architektur. Es wurde im 10.-11. Jahrhundert gegründet, im 12.-13. Jahrhundert kamen neue Gebäude hinzu. Jetzt besteht es aus St. Grigor, St. Astvatsatsin (Heilige Mutter Gottes), St. Stepanos-Kirchen und einigen anderen Gebäuden. Das Refektorium ist aufgrund seiner geschickten architektonischen Zusammensetzung von großem Interesse. Die riesige Eiche, die fast im Alter des Klosters ist, vervollständigt die ganze Szene.
Im nordwestlichen Teil des Sevan-Sees, wo die Halbinsel die transparente Oberfläche des Sees überragt, eröffnet sich eine wunderbare Szene. Das Sewanawank-Kloster wurde 874 im Auftrag der Tochterprinzessin Mariam von König Ashot Bagratuni auf der Halbinsel erbaut. Die Silhouette der Kirchen vor dem Hintergrund des türkisblauen Sees und des blauen Himmels hinterlässt bei den Besuchern einen unerklärlichen Eindruck.

What a wonderful day with Jasmine and Ashot! I booked this tour for my husband and I and it was incredible. Highly recommend Ashot, as he is a reliable, calm driver. He was so kind and his vehicle was incredibly clean. We also highly recommend Jasmine. She is so smart, funny and knows how to perfectly schedule your day for a great time. She patiently and knowledgeably explained every detail and even gave us time to spend in these holy areas for ourselves. I wish I could have more and more weeks to spend and enjoy with them.

Private tour for 7 days : we decided on the program and agency fine tuned it. Wonderful time. Khachatur is an experienced easy going very knowledgeable and helpful guide. Alexander was a very safe and thoughtfull driver. Everyrhing was well organized. Time goes by great with many interesting explanations, water on demand, comfortable and clean vehicles. We highly recommend for an unforgettable experience in Armenia.

Our day began with a visit to Sevanavank Monastery, followed by an unforgettable swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Sevan. It was such a unique and special experience, and we felt incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy it. After a delicious lakeside lunch, we continued our journey to Haghartsin and Goshavank Monasteries, both of which were truly beautiful and inspiring. Throughout the trip, our driver made us feel completely safe and comfortable on the road. We also enjoyed a lovely stop in Dilijan, where we experienced its charming historic atmosphere and stunning natural scenery. Although the day started sunny, the weather turned rainy later on, especially at the higher elevations. We were pleasantly surprised that our driver provided separate umbrellas for both my husband and me—a thoughtful touch that showed great attention to detail. Throughout the journey, complimentary cold bottled water was always available, making the trip even more comfortable. The entire tour became one of the most memorable days of our trip to Armenia. A heartfelt thank you to Hyur Service and especially to our driver, Baron Arakil. He did far more than drive us from place to place—he enriched the journey with fascinating stories about Armenian history, culture, music, and even films. We did a two-day tour of northern Armenia with Hyur Tours and it was a amazing experience. Our driver, Hrach, handled the long mountain roads with no drama and was easy company throughout. The car's air-conditioning was a real plus in the heat, and he also brought umbrellas along, which we were grateful for when heavy rain rolled in around Dilijan and the monastery there. Tamara, our guide, clearly knew the region: she gave good background at Lake Sevan and the monasteries and was always open to questions rather than sticking to a script. Very knowledgeable. The general pace stayed relaxed and they were happy to linger wherever we wanted. Nothing over-the-top, just well organized and genuinely enjoyable. Recommended if you want to see this part of the country with people who know it well.
