Beautiful site and excellent organization.
If I could give this a zero I would! here is our experience: we meet at the meeting point on the time that was found in the description (on the website and on the e-mail we got). We show up but there is nobody. So, we call the number of the tourorganisation. They tell us they don't know who is in charge, where everybody is, they don't know if the tour even was real or not. They bassicaly know even less than us: this was the a BIG RED FLAG! How is it possible that the organisator doesn't know where the tour is?! Then they start gaslighting us (RED FLAG) that it is our fault wich is just stupid because we met on the right time and the right place :/ We first wanted to rebook or reschedule but they didn't know if it was possible (RED FLAG). Eventually we asked our money back and they said they didn't know if we could get it back. (RED FLAGGG) In conclusion: if you want to save 17 euros NEVER book this trip!!! It was a stressfull day with a big dissapointment!
We did the hike to the waterfalls, and the boat to the nearby city, and then the olive oil/wine taste. The tour of the waterfalls was nice, waterfalls were beautiful, but the hike itself was PACKED with tourists, so much so that the walk itself was sometimes a little unpleasant dealing with crowds. I enjoyed the wine tasting, it was a cute little spot on a ridge and the wine was good. Our guide was Stipe, he was very knowledgeable and did a great job keeping all of the details together and the group in check. I saw some comments on the reviews about an uncomfortable bus ride, but I thought the bus was great - nice coach, great AC, comfy seats, not too packed.
The park was beautiful the added bonus was the river trip, visit to lovely village, and wine and olive tasting well worth it , magical location, our guide Stephan was excellent!
Very Good Value for Award. Krka Park is incredibly beautiful. The tour ends with a well-deserved swim in the city next door. Guide was nice but a little stressed so we wouldn't be late
Guide and driver were good, safely brought to their destination, everything was fine here. But the park itself is terrible. You will not be able to swim near the waterfall or at least enjoy being near it in nature, as the whole way through the park is more like standing in a huge queue than a peaceful walk. In addition, the width of the paths is lacking in the influx of people and you can easily be pushed as there is no fence or hedge. Around are locals who want to make the most of poor tourists. The heat couldn't get worse and I can't imagine how we haven't seen any ambulances in all this time. You'll be told you can't almost swim anywhere because the spf supposedly interferes with the environment, but stepping out to the dock you'll feel the terrible smell of petrol and exhaust. Speaking of the dock, it's not easy to find either. There are few signs in the park and they have almost nothing to do with the real direction you need to go. The place might have been cool 20 years ago, but now it's just another opportunity for Croatians to cash in on poor tourists and their children without offering anything good in return.
Stipe is awesome, goes far and above what most tour guides do, gave lots of tips privately via WhatsApp after the tour which turned out to be some of the highlights of my time in Split. Opted into the wine tasting during the tour and didn't regret it at all. Highly recommend even if you think you don't like wine, this will change your mind. Stipe helped make the tour feel very comfortable and engaging with lots of local knowledge. Thanks Stipe!
An easy access place 1 hour from Split by bus Beautiful place just beautiful where I also proposed The paths are arranged and done very well Visit in 1 hour maximum then a free boat with a 25 min crossing to go to a beach where swimming is allowed
The tour in itself was great. The park was beautiful and the tour guide was very informative. He even gave us tips on what else to do in Split. The only negative thing was that the bus was incredibly warm and tiny.
We did the park without the Wine tasting to maximise time in the park. Our guide Stipe was very friendly and informative and made the tour easy. The park was spectacular.
