Wir verlassen Siem Reap um 4:30 Uhr und holen alle Gäste von ihren Hotels ab. Wenn jemand noch keinen Angkor-Pass hat, machen wir einen Zwischenstopp am Ticketschalter, um einen zu kaufen. Unser erster Halt ist Angkor Wat selbst, der größte Tempel der Welt und der berühmteste Sonnenaufgang der Welt! Unser Khmer-Guide führt Sie durch die Korridore und Terrassen dieses atemberaubenden Ortes und gibt Ihnen einen Einblick in das Leben im Reich von Angkor.
Banteay Kdei ist auch als „Zitadelle der Mönchszellen“ bekannt. Es ist teilweise mit hoch aufragenden, sinusförmigen Bäumen bewachsen. Die Wurzeln der Seidenbaumwollbäume, die sich ihren Weg durch die Steine der zerstörten Mauern bahnen, sind ein berühmt schöner Anblick.
Ta Prohm ist eine malerische und attraktive Ruine, die teilweise vom Dschungel zurückerobert wurde. Er ist auch als „Tomb Raider-Tempel“ bekannt, der durch Angelina Jolie im Film von 2001 berühmt wurde.
Ta Keo wurde nie fertiggestellt und hat daher einen ganz anderen Aspekt als die meisten Tempel von Angkor. Seine quadratische, geschichtete Pyramidenform macht ihn zu einem der dramatischeren Orte auf der Tour, und das Klettern auf den Terrassen bietet einige schöne Ausblicke über den Dschungel.
Angkor Thom war die letztere Hauptstadt des Angkor-Reiches. Die Straße führt uns durch das berühmte Südtor, gesäumt von Göttern und Dämonen, die in einem ewigen Tauziehen verstrickt sind. Der Bayon-Tempel in der Mitte des Geländes ist mit unzähligen glückselig geschnitzten Gesichtern gesäumt, die ewig auf den umliegenden Wald blicken. Dann machen wir uns auf den Weg nach Bayon mit seinen 54 Türmen, die mit mehr als 200 rätselhaften lächelnden Gesichtern geschmückt sind.

John was an absolutely amazing tour guide, especially with a tour as early as the sunrise tour: almost immediately he was enthusiastic about the entire trip and was always excited to show us each and every part of the ruins. He was patient with our MANY pictures that we took, and even offered to take some himself. Additionally, his explanations for every part of the temples was fascinating, and he clearly shows a great love for what he does. I couldn’t recommend him enough. The tour was also extremely cheap, and I’m grateful for us being able to book VERY last minute with little issue. The bus was clean, and the free water was very, VERY nice.

Incredible sunrise and temple tour with Sam Vone! He’s an exceptionally knowledgeable guide who made the experience both fun and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of each temple, highlighting details we would have otherwise missed. He also knew all the best photo spots, took amazing pictures for us, and even showed me how to use my phone camera more effectively. We had plenty of time at each stop, with flexibility for bathroom breaks and a relaxed breakfast along the way. Our driver, “Rambo,” took great care of us—helping us avoid the crowds and greeting us after each temple visit with cold water and refreshing towels. Highly recommend this tour!

John When I visited Angkor Wat this time, I used it because the price did not change for taxi or rental bike. I'm glad you moved on time. He gave me a detailed history about Angkor Wat. It was very nice to be able to hand out cold water after one program. Recommended for those who stay less than a few days
5 out of 5 experience with Mr John. Early morning was cooler temp and sun rise was sick as well as the rest of the temples. Also kept cool with water after every stop.

The tour was organised very well, with John as our knowledgable guide. It is an early pickup but it was all timed to ensure we were in the right place at the right time. We also did the sunset tour with this company and that too was very well organised and run. Lots of cold water provided and good information shared throughout
Excellent option to see the sunrise. Then we toured the main temples. With a technical stop for breakfast! At all times they gave us fresh water to recover. Guide Sam explained everything in the different places
