The title of this excursion is misleading. Cenotes implies plural, meaning more than one. However, we only visited one cenote. After our guide asked us what we would like to focus on, we replied, seeing as many cenote‘s as possible. He agreed. However, this tour takes you to a few landmarks, then a cultural center. at the cultural center, you will be given presentations with some sales pitches. After that, it’s off to lunch, which was delicious. However, it took about 90 minutes for us to get our order and eat. This only left about 15 to 20 minutes at one cenote. So, if you were looking for a cenote specific excursion, this is not the one.

Our tour guide tio 'jose' was amazing! He met us at our meet up point early and was so welcoming and kind. He educated us on the history of cozumel from the beginning to the end of our tour and made us feel so safe and comfortable! We truly cannot reccomend him anymore! Our jeep tour with Arturo Martin was easily one of the highlights of our Cozumel trip. It was just me and my boys, Aiden and Ashton, and Arturo made the entire experience unforgettable. He took us all over the island, shared local history, and brought us to incredible spots—but the Jade Cavern was the absolute standout. Arturo guided us through the trails, explained the history and meaning behind the cavern, and made sure the boys felt safe while still having an adventure. It was breathtaking, and something we won’t forget. What made Arturo exceptional was how personal he made the tour. He watched out for us the whole time, kept us hydrated, checked in with the boys, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed. He never rushed us and made sure we got great photos so we could actually be in the memories, not just behind the camera. If you’re visiting Cozumel and want a jeep tour that feels safe, personalized, and full of adventure, ask for Arturo by name. From Jade Cavern to the shoreline stops, he turned a simple excursion into a core memory for me and my sons. Five stars—highly recommended!
