Die Galata-Brücke ist eine der berühmtesten Brücken Istanbuls, die das Goldene Horn überspannt. Die Brücke wurde während der Regierungszeit von Sultan Abdulmejid II gebaut. Sie war aus Holz, wurde aber immer wieder restauriert und erneuert, bis 1987 eine weitere Parallelbrücke gebaut wurde. Inzwischen brach in der Brücke ein Feuer aus, sodass einige unbeschädigte Holzbretter an Land gebracht wurden. Es ist ein Ziel für Meeresliebhaber, um über die natürliche Schönheit des Meeres zu meditieren. Sie wird Wachbrücke genannt, da die Lichter im Zusammenhang mit dem Verkehr der Seefächer weiter leuchten.
Die Blaue Moschee (Sultanahmet-Moschee - Camii) wurde während der Regierungszeit von Sultan Ahmet I. zwischen 1609 und 1616 erbaut. Es ist die einzige Moschee in der Türkei mit sechs Minaretten. Aufgrund ihrer herrlichen handgefärbten blauen, grünen und weißen Iznik-Fliesen wurde sie von den Europäern "Blaue Moschee" genannt. Die zentrale Kuppel ist 43 m hoch und hat einen Durchmesser von 33,4 m; Es verfügt auch über 260 Fenster.
Hippodrom (At Meydani) die Kulisse der Wagenrennen und das Zentrum des byzantinischen bürgerlichen Lebens. Januar 1901 offiziell eröffnet. Die drei Kuppeln des Brunnens sind mit Goldmosaik verziert.
Der Große Basar (Kapali Carsi) ist einer der größten und ältesten überdachten Märkte der Welt mit mehr als 58 überdachten Straßen und über 1.200 Geschäften. Es wurde 1461 eröffnet und ist bekannt für seine Schmuck-, Töpfer-, Gewürz- und Teppichgeschäfte. Viele der Stände auf dem Basar sind nach Warengruppen gruppiert, mit speziellen Bereichen für Ledermäntel, Goldschmuck und dergleichen. Der Basar enthält zwei Bedestens (gewölbte Mauerwerke, die zur Aufbewahrung und sicheren Aufbewahrung gebaut wurden), von denen das erste zwischen 1455 und 1461 auf Befehl von Sultan Mehmed dem Eroberer erbaut wurde. Der große Basar besteht aus 12 Hauptgebäuden und hat 22 Türen.
Zisterne Binbirdirek Die vom römischen Kaiser Theodosius II. zwischen 428 und 443 erbaut wurde, um Wasser zu speichern, das vom Valens-Aquädukt (Wasserreservoir aus der Römerzeit) geliefert wurde.

Die Hagia Sophia war fast tausend Jahre lang der größte geschlossene Raum der Welt und gilt immer noch als eines der wichtigsten architektonischen Denkmäler der Welt. Es ist eine der beliebtesten Attraktionen der Türkei, angezogen von dem bloßen Spektakel seiner Größe, Architektur, Mosaiken und Kunst. Es wurde während der Herrschaft des byzantinischen Kaisers Justinian im 6. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Erbaut.

I have the experience of a lifetime beyond my expectations with Emre as my guide. His his knowledge of the history of Istanbul Turkey, and the region so thoroughly enhanced our visits to all of the historical sites. We spent three full days together. Emery is knowledgeable, experienced and a fine gentleman.
Our guide Gunesh was spectacular. Very polite and met our needs in an extremely professional way. Many cult could provide us with accurate and rich information about the places we visited and the history of Turkey. He speaks perfect Portuguese. It made everything very pleasant.

We had an incredible days of cats and facts! We were picked up with Orhan and taken over the river and walked around Istanbul with cat food! It was a lot of fun. We visited 2 museums and due to tue heat frequently stopped for refreshments. We went down streets and beautiful alleys to stroke friendly cats and Orhan was the perfect host. As it was our twins’s birthday they were each given a toy cat too which made it very special. The second museum was bonkers! We had a great time and learnt a lot about the history of Istanbul and were very glad to see that the cats were very loved. Orhan gave is tips on what to see next too. Was a wonderful day! We did the private Istanbul tour with transport and were completely satisfied. Pick up at the cruise terminal worked smoothly and the tour bus was very comfortable. Our tour guide Ali was outstanding – very friendly, competent and with an impressive expertise about the city and its history. The tour by bus was pleasantly short, after which we explored many sights on foot. We had enough time to look at everything in peace and ask questions.

Our half-day tour of Istanbul was a delight thanks to Emre, of Istanbul Voyage Travel which we booked through Viator Tours. Emre is not only the guide he also drove us. He is very knowledgeable and told a lot of stories about the city, and kept us at a fast pace so we could see all that we were hoping to see plus much more.We saw and learned a great deal in our five hours. He's been doing this for many years, knows everybody, and took us to best places to get photos . The Topkapi palace was the highlight for me as well as the Basilica Cistern. We were so pleased he respected our time without wasting it on shopping excursions . He is a true professional as a guide as well a great driver!

We had booked a private tour with guide and driver. The organization worked very well and we were picked up on time and driven to the Blue Mosque. We could do without the transfer afterwards, as the sights (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Cistern and Grand Bazaar) were within walking distance. Then we would have saved a lot of money. What we would not have wanted to do without was our guide Ali. With a lot of expertise, funny anecdotes and very good German, he led us past the long queues through the historical sights and also took many photos with us by the way. With his friendly and sympathetic nature he gave us a lot of background knowledge and many tips for our further original holiday design. Thanks for that and 5 stars for Ali! I had an excellent day with Emre being taken on a tour of the religious and historic sites of Istanbul.
