Schöner Sandstrand Kostanj, wo wir auf einem Boot schwimmen und uns sonnen werden.
Die Insel Ošljak ist mit 29 Einwohnern und einer Fläche von 0,39 km2 die kleinste ständig bewohnte Insel der Adria. Es ist nur eine halbe Seemeile von Preko entfernt. Ošljak ist ein Beispiel für traditionelle mediterrane Architektur mit einem alten Fischerhafen und der Kirche St. Maria aus dem 6. Jahrhundert. Der Wanderweg auf der Insel ist zwei Kilometer lang und führt an einem Leuchtturm und den Überresten von Windmühlen vorbei – Mühlen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. 1985 wurde Ošljak zum Waldpark erklärt.
Ugljan ist eine der malerischsten Inseln des Archipels von Zadar, die gegenüber von Zadar liegt, von der sie nur durch den nur wenige Seemeilen breiten Kanal von Zadar getrennt ist. Diese immergrüne Insel, die mit Olivenhainen, idyllischen Buchten und malerischen kleinen Fischerhäfen bedeckt ist, ist seit Generationen mit dem Meer, der Seefahrt und dem Fischfang verbunden, und mehr als 2000 Jahre Olivenanbau haben Tausende von Olivenbäumen ertragreich hinterlassen ein Öl von außergewöhnlicher Qualität und Aroma. Entlang der Ostseite der Insel gibt es Fischer- und Touristensiedlungen in natürlichen Buchten, von denen die bekanntesten Preko, Ugljan, Kali und Kukljica sind.

We had an amazing time with Luka! We swam in two spots - one was a very sandy beach with almost no one else around. He dropped us at Osljak Island and we walked the whole perimeter in about 30 minutes. Then we swam briefly there and had lunch at Srdela Snack in Kali, which is Luka’s favorite. He ordered us lots of fish to try! It was a great day!
