Begleiten Sie uns auf einer privaten Tour, während wir uns auf eine wahrhaft magische Pilgerreise im Harry Potter-Stil durch das Herz Schottlands und in die Highlands begeben. Lernen Sie unsere berühmten Highland Coos kennen. Von einem geeigneten Aussichtspunkt aus können Sie den Hogwarts Express betrachten, während er das weltberühmte Glenfinnan Viaduct überquert. Reflektieren Sie am ergreifenden Commando Memorial mit Blick auf Ben Nevis, den höchsten Berg Großbritanniens. Bestaunen Sie die beeindruckenden Landschaften der Highlands in Glencoe. Besuchen Sie den Drehort von Dumbledores Grab und Hagrids Hütte. Machen Sie ewig schöne Erinnerungen, die das wahre Wesen Schottlands einfangen. ANMERKUNG Der Jakobitenzug ist zwischen dem 25. Oktober und dem 27. März nicht einsatzbereit, in diesen Monaten werden wir noch den Viadukt besuchen.

Eine der wichtigsten und größten Burgen in der schottischen Geschichte. Stirling Castle liegt auf einem Hügel aus Vulkangestein über der Stadt Stirling.
Ein toller Zwischenstopp, Toiletten und ein Café. Unsere Hauptattraktion ist natürlich die Handfütterung unserer heißgeliebten „Highland Coos“.
Die Dalwhinnie Distillery, berühmt für ihren Single Malt, ist mit über 1000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel die höchstgelegene Brennerei Schottlands.
90 Minuten entfernt befindet sich das Commando Monument, eine große dreifigurige Bronzestatue, die an den Dienst und die Opfer tausender alliierter Truppen während des Zweiten Weltkriegs erinnert, mit Ben Nevis im Hintergrund.
Nach einer 30-minütigen Fahrt erreichen wir unsere Hauptattraktion. Genießen Sie die magische Kulisse dieses weltberühmten Harry Potter-Drehorts und erleben Sie, wie der Dampfzug „Hogwarts Express“ das Glenfinnan-Viadukt überquert. Unser Ziel ist es, bis 12:20 Uhr anzukommen. Der Jacobite-Zug ist am besten vom Hügel hinter dem Viadukt aus zu sehen. Es ist ein 25-minütiger Spaziergang, der Zug wird zwischen 13:10 und 13:30 Uhr erwartet.
Ben Nevis erhebt sich über alle anderen Berge im Vereinigten Königreich und ist der höchste und stellt Fort William in den Schatten. Wir bringen Sie zu einem Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus Sie die Landschaft genießen und faszinierende Fotos machen können. Eine 30-minütige Fahrt vom Viadukt entfernt.
Hagrids Hut befand sich einst in der Clachaig-Schlucht am Anfang des Glencoe-Gebirges. Sowohl „Der Gefangene von Askaban“ als auch „Der Orden des Phönix“ wurden hier gedreht. Leider gibt es die Hütte nicht mehr, aber sie ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Stelle entfernt, an der sie einst stand.
Die Three Sisters of Glencoe – der am häufigsten fotografierte Ort in Schottland – sind drei Berggipfel, die vor 420 Millionen Jahren von einem Supervulkan geformt wurden und deren Tal über Millionen von Jahren von Gletschern geformt wurde. Dahinter befindet sich eine versteckte Schlucht, die vom MacDonald-Clan genutzt wurde, um das von seinen Nachbarn gestohlene Vieh zu verstecken. Eine 30-minütige Fahrt von Fort William entfernt.
Eine 20-minütige Fahrt bringt uns zum Rannoch Moor, das oft als der einsamste Ort im Vereinigten Königreich bezeichnet wird, da es sich um die größte Moorfläche der britischen Inseln handelt. Es diente auch als Kulisse für die Dreharbeiten zu Szenen aus Harry Potters „Heiligtümer des Todes“.
Eine 5-minütige Fahrt bringt uns zum Aussichtspunkt Loch Tulla, der alles umfasst, was die Highlands zu bieten haben, von aufsteigenden Bergen bis hin zu Seen und Kiefernwäldern.
Ein toller Aussichtspunkt auf Loch Lomond ist die pyramidenförmige erhöhte Plattform in Inveruglas. Dies ist ein guter Zwischenstopp, da es sowohl 45 Minuten von Loch Tulla als auch 45 Minuten von Glasgow entfernt ist, Ihrem letzten Halt bei Ihrer Unterkunft/Ihrem Hotel oder Airbnb.

Really enjoyed this tour across Scotland and we were made to feel very comfortable even with a bit of a bumpy schedule and things having to get rebooked around things out of E2G's control. We had an amazing time, learned some great facts and stories about Scottish history, saw the train (of course!), had a fantastic lunch, and felt very catered-to all along the way. Taiymur was a fantastic guide and very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! Thanks for making it special!

The only way to do tours! This private tour is a must do in Scotland. My wife and I had the best time and the greatest experience. Brian our tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He navigated us to all the points of interest and had interesting historical facts at every stop. Brian also provided us with a personal touch and brought traditional Scottish treats his wife Maggie handmade, which were amazing! We had an absolute unforgettable time and created some fantastic memories.

We took a tour with EG2, and our guide Brian was absolutely wonderful — such a great guide! He was incredibly accommodating and adjusted our tour based on what we wanted to see and experience, which made the day feel very personal and special. He took us through the Highlands, which were absolutely breathtaking. One thing I really wanted to do was see the Highland coos, feed them, and pet them — and he made it happen! It was truly a dream come true. Throughout the tour, Brian shared so many incredible stories and so much history about Scotland, which made the experience even more special. This was by far the best tour we have ever taken. When we come back to Scotland, we will definitely book another tour with Brian!

Our driver/guide, George, was the absolute best!! There was a miscommunication on which “Leonardo” hotel we were staying at - and this saint of a man arrived in Edinburgh early in the morning (from Glasgow) and George checked each hotel to make sure he picked us up on time. I went to the lobby early at 8am and he was already there. And that was before the tour even started! George showed us as much of Scotland as possible in 12 hours. We will forever be grateful for his knowledge and love of his country and its history - and that he shared it all with us. We wanted to see some filming locations (Doune Castle - Monty Python & the Holy Grail - the French Taunter; Game of Thrones - Winterfell; and Outlander - Castle Leoche) and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, along with as many beautiful and historical locations as possible. George introduced us to: The Kelpies, Loch Lomand , The 3 Sisters: (Mountains named Faith, Hope, Charity) and the site of the Glencoe Massacre, the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Jacobite Train - and the Hogwarts Express) & the Highland Coos) . We will remember this day forever and are so so so grateful to George for his kindness and wisdom.

I had an amazing time on this tour up to the glen lock highlands, and Harry Potter train. My tour guide George gave me and my family an amazing experience of Scotland. He took to the time to show me amazing historical sites and places for movies I wanted to see. I’m coming again to do another tour with him next time come.

Im a massive fan of the books and the movies. Despite recent controversies. The world still holds a special place in my heart. This trip helped me ge t back in touch with that special place from my childhood. Seeing the Harry Potter bridge was such a special thing!! We also got to see Winterfell which was amazing. The other Historical castles were special, apparently some were used for filming outlander as well as other movies. Shame the Real Hogwarts wasn't available :P
