Diese Tour führt Sie und Ihre Gruppe auf die berühmte Strecke, auf der so viele Landgeschwindigkeitsrekorde aufgestellt und gebrochen wurden. Ob Sie schnelle Geschwindigkeiten genießen oder nicht, die Salt Flats westlich von Salt Lake City sind ein unglaubliches Reiseziel, das jeder sehen muss, wenn ihm die Chance gegeben wird! Metapher – Der Baum von Utah, manchmal auch Baum des Lebens genannt, ist eine 87 Fuß hohe Skulptur, die in den 1980er Jahren vom schwedischen Künstler Karl Momen geschaffen und 1986 eingeweiht wurde. Die Skulptur besteht hauptsächlich aus Beton besteht aus einem quadratischen „Stamm“, der sechs Kugeln trägt, die mit natürlichem Gestein und Mineralien aus Utah überzogen sind. Rund um den Sockel befinden sich außerdem mehrere Hohlkugelsegmente auf dem Boden. Die Skulptur verfügt derzeit über einen Zaun, der den Sockel umgibt, um Menschen vor herabfallenden Fliesen zu schützen. Auf der Tafel sind die Worte aus „Ode an die Freude“ von Friedrich Schiller eingraviert; wird auch als Chor von Beethovens Neunter Symphonie verwendet. Es heißt, dass Momen dazu bewegt wurde, den 27 m hohen Baum zu schaffen, nachdem er während einer Fahrt durch die einsamen Bonneville-Salzebenen eine Vision von einem Baum hatte. Nach der Einweihung dieses Kunstwerks schenkte Momen die Skulptur dem Staat Utah und kehrte nach Schweden zurück.
Reisende werden am angegebenen Ort in Salt Lake City abgeholt und zu den Bonneville Salt Flats nahe der Grenze zu Nevada gefahren. Unterwegs halten wir an der Skulptur „Baum des Lebens“, wo Reisende bei Bedarf Fotos machen können. Nachdem wir die Skulptur verlassen haben, machen wir uns auf den Weg zu den Salinen, wo Reisende ihre Zeit damit verbringen können, Fotos zu machen, durch die Salinen zu spazieren usw. Die Hin- und Rückfahrt beträgt etwa 100 Meilen und dauert jeweils etwa 1,5 Stunden.

We had a fantastic adventure at the Salt Flats and at Park City yesterday! Shawn was very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us throughout the day. He also took so many wonderful pictures of our family during the entire trip. He was great with my 8 year old and kept him entertained on the very long drives between stops. 저 혼자 여행이었는데 Shawn이 정말 잘 가이드해줬습니다. 호텔 픽업드랍 완벽하고, 제가 번호 알려줘서 문자로 연락했는데 답장도 빨랐어요. 제 예약에 문제가 있었는데 잘 해결해줬고, salt flat 워킹존, 드라이빙존 모두 데려다줬습니다. 제가 있고싶은 시간 만큼, 사진 찍고싶은 만큼 전부 마음대로 하게 해줬고 드라이빙존에서는 테슬라로 190키로까지 찍어줬어요ㅋㅋ 저도 밴드를 하고, Shawn은 밴드로 음악까지 냈더라구요. 왕복 3시간 정도 거리인데 밴드 음악 많이 알려주고 본인 밴드 노래도 들려줬습니다ㅎㅎ 영어 그렇게 잘하는 편 아니지만 대화 무리없이 했고 알아듣기 쉽게 말해줘요! 이전에 거의 영어 못하는 사람이 왔을 땐 핸드폰 통역 썼다고 하니 크게 걱정 안하셔도 될 것 같습니다ㅎㅎ 한국어 후기가 없어서 좀 걱정했었는데 다른 분은 그러지 않으시길 바라며 후기 남겨요:) 식당 추천, 가까이 들를곳 추천 전부 받았는데 만족했습니다!
