This was an amazing tour and excellent value for money. We were picked up in a private and very nice air conditioned car for a tour of the island. Our tour guide Julian was amazing from start to finish. He took us all over the island on this half day tour to see the highlights and he let us customise as we wished. We stopped off at many places including Morne Fortune Bay, The Tet Paul Nature Trail where we had our own guide for a small fee. This was absolutely beautiful and offered great views of the Pitons. It was a moderate walk/hike not difficult and could be done in flat shoes, no trainers needed at all. We also visited Soufriere and the Volcano where we had an amazing guide to show us round and talk to us about the volcano. We also visited the Diamond Botanical Garden with the stunning waterfall where we had the option to take a refreshing dip, this place was well worth a visit. This is a great way to see the highlights of Saint Lucia in half a day. We never felt rushed, it felt like we were sightseeing with an old friend. We were well taken care of and nothing was too much trouble for Julian, he helped us get some fantastic photos. He was a very knowledgeable guide whilst making the tour fun and was happy to answer any questions we had. I am so glad we chose to do this tour and I cannot recommend this tour and Julian enough, simply the best. If you book this tour you will leave with the best memories of Saint Lucia and its amazing, friendly people as we did. Please don't leave Saint Lucia without seeing the island, so much to see and do here apart from the beautiful beaches and hotels.
I enjoyed myself on this tour and appreciated A-List going out of the way to accommodate my tight schedule. Keep it up.
We hired a private car and it was ideal. They picked up up promptly at the pier and tailored our tour to meet our interest. We had a great guide....very entertaining and informative. The views of the Pitons and tour of the botanical gardens were the highlights. Good Job!
We take this time out to thank you for your honest review and that you enjoyed our services provided to you. Also thank you for making us your number one choice for tour provider in St. Lucia. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Have a blessed day
Five Stars for Julian!! He provided my boyfriend and I with an AMAZING experience touring and learning the history of beautiful St. Lucia. He was professional and a delight to spend the day with. Thanks Julian for a wonderful tour!!
We would like to thank you for this warm, heart felt review and that Julian did a great job in being an ambassador for our lovely island. Thank you again for chosing our services.
We had a private tour on Monday 07/15/2019 with the taxi/guide named Julian. He was excellent, very informative, pleasant, and cordial. He let us take our time and we were not rushed. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. WE were also in a private car, a BMW in fact. We weren't in some packed van or bus which we have experienced on some other tours with different companies The BEST TOUR
Thank you for reviewing this as the BEST TOUR, it has brought a joy to our hearts as we seek to improve every aspect. It was a pleasure serving you and look forward to seeing you again.
Superb excursion to the volcano of the sulphur except the smell of sulphur The super funny and good for the skin mud bath and then hot waterfall is beautiful
Being the first time in St. Lucia I thought tour would be ideal. This private half-day tour quite a disappointment, especially for the $220 cost. Our tour guide Sean picked us up promptly at the cruise port at 9 am. Tour lasted 6 hours, 5 hours of driving curvy/winding roads of St. Lucia, and 1 hour of sights: Stop at a roadside stand/banana plantation, visiting Diamond Botanical Gardens, and mud baths at Sulphur Springs (Viewed the active lava pits). Other than that, boring....our driver pointed out some important landmarks and drove past charming fishing villages Laborie and Choiseul en route to town of Soufriere. This quote from the advertisement: "Learn about the island's history and culture through your local guide's engaging commentary"..When we were picked-up at the port, we began to ask questions out of curiosity and were told by guide Sean "The tour has not officially started". We would ask questions and would be told there would be a guide at the Botanical Gardens or wait until we arrived at Pitons for him to talk about them. Tired sitting in a car 5 hours told our guide to skip RUM tasting & traditional cassava bread. Seeing other reviews I wonder if we were on the same tour. I've used Viator to book tours and have always had excellent experiences. No problem with the cost of the $220... In this instance I'd say don't waste your time or money! If I could get a refund I would ask for one. (Tour Date was Friday 3/29/19)
We are a bit sad that you were not able to enjoy your tour. St. Lucia is a tropical island which consist mainly of rainforest and mountains so traveling from one end to the other can seem forever, how ever there ample oppurtunitues for photos along the way. The tour is 4-5 hours in total including attractions, stops, photo ops and etc. we do apologize if your experience was not as expected but do thank you for reviewing our Services in St. Lucia.
The direction to meet the driver off the cruise ship are vague. Go out toward taxi pick-up and look for your name on signs being held. If your name doesn't appear ask someone to call and tell them your driver is not there. We waited an hour before we found out they had the wrong name to driver. The tour is very good. The driver we had was knowledgeable. We went to fishing village, volcanoe, and botanical gardens. All were worth the stop.
Moses met us outside the ferry terminal and took us to the car park where we were very surprised at how nice the car was! This is seeing the island in style. He has many, many interesting facts about the island and we learnt so much. Every single corner there was a new fact and the villages we passed were authentic Caribbean areas with natural beauty. The mid point of the journey was at the sulphur springs where we enjoyed our natural mud spa. Moses was great at pointing us in the right direction for everything and assisted us in mudding up. He took some great pics (as attached) and we felt really well looked after at every stage. We then visited the waterfall so rinse off (note that the water comes down with some force so not for the softies out there). Our return journey we got chatting about personal lives and he was a fascinating guy. Great trip, amazing guide and I’d recommend anyone who wants to spend the extra money avoiding the huge crowds to do this.
My husband and I had a wonderful time on our tour of St. Lucia! Our tour guide was Julian and he did a great job of showing us this beautiful island. The vehicle was clean and Julian was very professional. He was also very knowledgeable and personable!! We highly recommend this tour!
