Unsere Jeep-Safari-Tour für den südlichen Teil der Insel richtet sich hauptsächlich an Gäste, die in Unterkünften im Süden von Korfu übernachten. Unsere Route ist Ausgangspunkt des Sommerferienortes Moraitika.

Reiseverlauf
Zuerst besuchen wir die Taxiarchon-Kirche im Dorf Chlomos *, um den Panoramablick auf den südlichen Teil der Insel zu genießen. Danach wandern wir durch das traditionelle Dorf, um einen Einblick in die einzigartige Architektur und den Alltag der Einheimischen zu bekommen. Chlomos ist auch ein idealer Ort, um den traditionellen griechischen Kaffee zusammen mit der magischen Flüssigkeit zu erleben, die nur die Menschen in den Dörfern von Korfu kennen.
Der Korissionssee ist ein einzigartiger Ort auf Korfu, da er sich auf der linken Seite des Halikounas-Strandes erstreckt und ein sehr reiches Ökosystem aufweist. Es ist auch durch Natura 2000 aufgrund seiner seltenen Flora und Fauna geschützt. Je nach Jahreszeit können Sie Flamingos, Enten, Kormorane und Tausende bunter Schmetterlinge sehen.
Es wäre keine Tour durch den Süden von Korfu, wenn wir nicht im Dorf Agios Matthaios und genauer gesagt im "Gouverneur" Halt machen würden. Hier stellt die Familie Dafnis ihr eigenes Olivenöl her und wir können es durch ein einzigartiges Erlebnis der Verkostung von Olivenöl ausprobieren. Das Familienunternehmen ist nicht nur in Griechenland, sondern auch auf der ganzen Welt sehr beliebt, da die berühmten Flaschen mit Ioannis Kapodistrias sogar bei Harrods in London verkauft werden.
Nach dieser einzigartigen Erfahrung besuchen wir das traditionelle Dorf Pentati, wo Sofia uns lokale Köstlichkeiten zubereitet, während wir das endlose Blau des Ionischen Meeres genießen können.

What a wonderful experience we had in South Corfu! The itinerary is carefully picked so you can understand the way of live in Corfu, the nature and the wonderful views. Yannis, our guide, knows how to make a good atmosphere and he is also a very good singer :) He knows a lot about Corfu hidden jams, the people living here, you can see he loves this island from the way he speaks about it. The bonus is that the group is small, so you can really enjoy the time spent with your family!

We had a fabulous trip with Jannis, his knowledge and singing skills were superb, we really enjoyed our trip and would recommend this tour, we visited lovely villages, an olive oil producer, a 1500 year old olive tree and had some delicious food.

We did the south safari with Sakis and the northwest safari a day later. They were two beautiful tours. Sakis told us a lot about the island and the people. We also met a lot of Spyros. 😂 The tasting at the olive mill was really great. If we come back to Corfu, we will definitely book a Jeep safari again. We can recommend these tours to everyone. Great tour with Yannis. We were with two other couples and was great fun. The tour was informative and the views and experiences exceptional. Yannis Truly loves the island and the tour really benefits from this and his local knowledge really benefited us. The food at the taverna was gorgeous.

An excellent experience off the beaten track or should I say on it! A great morning with Yanis exploring the south of the island. I particularly enjoyed his musical accompaniment, the morning coffee, the views, the olive oil experience and the lunch so that’s pretty much everything 🤩 Tania was an excellent driver and I felt extremely safe on the narrow and busy roads on the countryside. He was an excellent guide full of knowledge and good humour. Excellent value for money. I wish we had time to fit in the others and especially the sunset tour in because they all sound fabulous. This trip was an excellent way to wrap up our Corfu vacation! It was a great way to see a lot in one day including olive trees that are thousands of years old, beautiful lakes and wildlife, and wonderful vistas. Our experience was improved a lot by Yannis who gave us a comprehensive tour of the areas in between locations, sharing his knowledge about Greek and Corfiot culture, mythology, horoscopes, and tradition! He really made the trip much more memorable!
