Unser Ausflug in den nordwestlichen Teil der Insel bietet einen wunderschönen Panoramablick, charmante Höhlen und Häkchen bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Es richtet sich hauptsächlich an Besucher von Kreuzfahrtschiffen, Gäste der Insel, die in Unterkünften im westlichen oder zentralen Teil von Korfu leben, oder allgemein an alle, die so viele Orte wie möglich besuchen möchten und nicht einmal eine Minute verschwenden möchten.

Wir besuchen das Dorf Lakones, wo die majestätische Aussicht auf Paleokastritsa mit dem klaren blauen Wasser wundervolle Erinnerungen wecken wird, an die wir uns erinnern können. Danach machen wir eine Kaffeepause im traditionellen Café von Eutihis, wo wir den berühmten griechischen Kaffee mit einer magischen Flüssigkeit genießen können, die nur die Einheimischen kennen. Unmittelbar danach erwirbt das jüngste Mitglied unserer Partei den Schlüssel des verborgenen Schatzes und wir können das „besondere Haus“ erkunden.
Unsere erste Station, die den Einheimischen nicht einmal bekannt ist, ist ein verstecktes Juwel der Natur - der Crab Lake. Hier halten die wilden Tiere der Insel an, um zu hydratisieren. Wir können jedoch einige Fotos machen, da es sich um einen kurzen Stopp handelt, wird empfohlen, nicht herumzuwandern.

Nach dem Besuch der Mikrobrauerei und nur 3 Minuten entfernt erreichen wir das Akrotiti Café, wo wir unser leichtes Mittagessen einnehmen, begleitet vom einzigartigen Geschmack des Korfu-Bieres oder des lokalen Weins. Das Akrotiri Café befindet sich zwischen zwei Stränden und wird von unseren Gästen aufgrund seiner wilden und natürlichen Schönheit als ihr Lieblingsort bezeichnet. Trotzdem ist unser Stopp dort schnell, da unser Hauptziel darin besteht, so viele atemberaubende Orte der Insel wie möglich zu sehen.
Unser letzter und letzter Stopp und der Höhepunkt unserer Tour ist Cape Drastis. Von vielen als einzigartiger Ort beschrieben, aufgrund seiner hohen Klippen und unvergleichlichen Schönheit, schließt es unsere Tour bestmöglich ab.

This was a fantastic experience and well worth the money. The places we stopped off at were amazing ! The guide Simon was fantastic and could not do enough for us! This trip has been the highlight of our holiday.

We had Simon as our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and approachable. The meal at the Akrotori Taverna was delicious and the shop at the olive oil museum was excellent for gifts. Would highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem in Corfu – The Highlight of Our Mediterranean Cruise! Our family had an absolutely unforgettable day touring Corfu with Simon. Out of all the ports and excursions on our European Mediterranean cruise, this was without question the highlight of our entire trip. We booked directly through Viator rather than through our cruise ship, and it turned out to be one of the best travel decisions we made. From the moment we met Simon, we felt like VIP guests. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for Corfu made the day truly special. What set this tour apart were the hidden gems and unexpected stops that only a knowledgeable local could provide. The scenic photo opportunities were incredible, and Simon seemed to know exactly where to take us for the most breathtaking views and memorable family pictures. The food and drink experiences were equally outstanding. The coffee stop was charming and authentic, and our lunch was absolutely delicious. These were not tourist traps, but carefully selected local spots that gave us a true taste of Corfu and Greek hospitality. Traveling with a group that included teenagers, parents, and grandparents can be challenging, but Simon made sure everyone was engaged, comfortable, and having a wonderful time. We spent a magnificent half-day with XÉNO. He is the only French speaker on the team as we come from France and have limited English. He introduced us to beautiful wild landscapes that we would never have found on our own. And the Greek coffee with ouzo in the morning, as well as the lunch in a very remote little tavern, completed our enchantment. In addition to being a very good driver, he has an inexhaustible culture that he shared with us. Thank you for this beautiful adventure.
