Guide was outstanding and able to locate wildlife with ease. Friendly and knowledgeable. He used a telescope to locate things far away in the distance. We had plenty of beverages to keep us hydrated and a huge midday lunch of local food. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic time with our guide, Zender, from Traluxu Travel! I really cannot recommend them highly enough! My husband and I did the Private Hanging Bridges tour with Zender last year. He was our favorite guide during our trip, so when we returned to Costa Rica this year with our kids, we requested him again. We also set up custom tours with Traluxu, and Sirleny was so easy to work with over email to coordinate our plans. Their prices were reasonable and they were very accommodating. Plus, they had great suggestions of things to do. Also, when rain forced a change to our plans, Traluxu arranged alternative activities for us to do that ended up being better than what we originally planned. Our kids enjoyed Zender as much as we did! He is a joy to be around – very funny and informative – such a pleasant partner in our adventures who was great with our kids. We did the Private Hanging Bridges tour and saw interesting critters from snakes (venomous and non-venomous), insects, tarantulas, coati, etc. Zender has a keen eye for spotting wildlife that the normal hiker would never notice. He also knows the other local guides and they share information about where to spot things. He encouraged my kids to peak in the holes (from a safe distance) along the trail to see what critter they might find – and they found many – it was like a treasure hunt! We also did the Venado Caves, which was my kids’ most favorite outing of the trip. Zender “paparazzi’d” us – making sure he thoroughly captured our cave exploration in photos. We also went to the La Fortuna Waterfall, where he also graciously captured lots of fun family pictures of us. Additionally, Traluxu arranged for us to cook an authentic Costa Rican meal in a private home, which was among the highlights of our trip and one of the best meals we had. Traluxu Travel will be my go-to company for any tours in La Fortuna! They are so easy to work with, reliable and communicative…and fun! They helped make our trip an incredible experience that our family will remember for the rest of our lives!

Our family of 5 recently did the Hanging Bridges-Waterfall hike with Costarican lunch with Zender and it was the highlight of our our trip. Zender was informative, funny and very helpful. Although it was a day of very heavy rain, we still had the time of our lives. He went “above and beyond” in order to ensure we had a great experience.
