Sasha has a real passion for teaching and explaining the villa. My experience with her has no negatives. If you want someone who has love for history, please a have tour with Sasha. I personally cannot wait to go back and have another tour with Sasha at the other places she tours.

A private tour of the Getty Villa is a must— especially if you are lucky enough to be guided by art historian Sasha. We were in LA to celebrate our son’s birthday. He’s a fashion archivist and costume curator— my husband an architect, specializing in facilities planning & historic preservation— both tour guides themselves at various points in their respective careers. It’s as if Quick Culture, the tour operator, knew the perfect guide with whom to match them. Visiting the Getty Villa has been top on my husband’s list for a long time.
