Wir bieten eine Einführung in die Kunstwelt, die betont, wie man Kunstwerke betrachtet und worauf man achten sollte. Durch den Einsatz von visuellen und taktilen Hilfsmitteln beziehen wir das Kind in die Techniken, den Prozess und die Motivationen der Künstler ein. Gleichzeitig sorgen wir dafür, dass auch die erwachsenen Begleitpersonen (über 18) unterhalten werden. Nach der Tour werden Sie staunen über die gemeinsamen Entdeckungen, die Sie gemeinsam erlebt haben. Zusätzlich wird jedem Kind ein „Kunstanerkennungsabzeichen“ überreicht. Wir empfehlen diese Tour nicht für Kinder unter 6 Jahren, es sei denn, sie sitzen im Kinderwagen. Willst du eine Zeit, die nicht gepostet wird? Fragen Sie einfach! Kinder werden auf unterhaltsame und interaktive Weise die Elemente der Kunst wie Farbe, Linie, Komposition, Perspektive, Formen der Skulptur und die historische Darstellung des Kunstwerks sehen und kennenlernen. Dieser Ansatz stellt sicher, dass das Kind Wissen erhält, das in jedem Kunstmuseum angewendet werden kann.

I have a pretty simple rating system: Did you enjoy it? And would you do it again? In this case, the answer is yes. Ellen was great. Her knowledge—of the museum’s history and the artwork—made the experience much richer than it would have otherwise been for me and my fifth grade son.

My young nephews are not really museum fans however on this particular tour, they couldn't hold back their excitement. They loved the fun quizzes and enjoyed every bit of the tour.

I highly recommend Quick Cultures LA for a tour of the Getty with kids. Ellen, our docent, was very skilled at interacting with three different ages categories. She made learning fun and brought glossy photos to highlight a specific style of each artists’ paintings. In addition, she would play games and ask them fun questions to understand all the different types of art. She made it informative, fun , and they loved her surprise at the end of the tour~
