Auf dem Weg ins Westjordanland sehen Sie die Zwillingsstatuen, die Amenophis III. (Fl. 14. Jahrhundert v. Chr.) In sitzender Position darstellen. Seine Hände ruhen auf den Knien und sein Blick zeigt nach Osten (eigentlich ESE in modernen Lagern) in Richtung Fluss. Nach dem Besuch des Tals der Könige können Sie den Totentempel der Hatschepsut sehen, der auch als Djeser-Djeseru (altägyptisch: ḏsr ḏsrw "Allerheiligstes") bekannt ist und ein Totentempel des alten Ägypten in Oberägypten ist. Der Tempel wurde für den Pharao Hatschepsut aus der 18. Dynastie erbaut, der 1458 v. Chr. Starb. Er befindet sich unter den Klippen von Deir el-Bahari am Westufer des Nils in der Nähe des Tals der Könige. Dieser Totentempel ist Amun und Hatschepsut gewidmet und befindet sich neben dem Totentempel von Mentuhotep II, der sowohl als Inspiration als auch später als Steinbruch diente. Es gilt als eines der "unvergleichlichen Denkmäler des alten Ägypten". [1]
Ein berühmter Aspekt von Karnak ist die Great Hypostyle Hall im Bezirk Amun-Re, eine Hallenfläche von 5.000 m2 mit 134 massiven Säulen, die in 16 Reihen angeordnet sind. Einhundertzweiundzwanzig dieser Säulen sind 10 Meter hoch und die anderen 12 sind 21 Meter hoch und haben einen Durchmesser von über 3 Metern. Die Architraven auf diesen Säulen wiegen schätzungsweise 70 Tonnen. Diese Architraven wurden möglicherweise mit Hebeln auf diese Höhen angehoben. Dies wäre ein äußerst zeitaufwändiger Prozess und würde auch ein hohes Gleichgewicht erfordern, um zu solch großen Höhen zu gelangen.

While the guide is very knowledgeable & the tour itself was good, be aware of the actual costs for tickets and that they will try to scam you. As tickets arent included, the guide bought the tickets for us ‘to skip the queue’ when we got to each place to pay them back later. When we got to valley of the kings, the guide told us that to enter the tombs of Tutankhamun & Ramses VI it is USD$50 extra per person. We agreed to go into the tombs, but felt it was a lot so looked up the fees and it is not even $18 each to enter both tombs. They also took us to a shop in between locations where we were pressured into buying goods, and THEN told we must pay the guide back in cash for the tickets and had to use an ATM at the shop to get cash to give to them. When we questioned the cost of the tickets the only explanation was that they had to wait for us as guides aren’t allowed in the tombs (spent less than 10 mins in each tomb). We would be happy to pay a few extra USD for their time if they were upfront about the cost, however not $64 - especially since they will expect a tip on top.
At the end of the day I paid tip. It was 40%, so I thought it was good. I didn’t expect that the driver was angry for such amount. But he seemed confused and called Viator. Later he sent me some fine print saying I should have paid additional for the airport pickup. I didn’t notice such fine prints and he didn’t mention earlier. Anyway, fortunately I don’t owe him anything as the tip can cover whatever additional cost. But, every experience in Egypt was like this. You need to be really positive to feel good. Don’t come.
Such amazing time we did spend in our trip at Luxor City, we had really great tour guide given a good information about the Egyptian history Mohamed was fantastic and knowledgeable and very smart . We hardly recommended this tour to everyone

We had a great day visit the tomb's of Valley of the Nobel's in west bank , we did seen 6 Tomb's form the best there, we liked so much the Tomp of the grapes, the colours is so strong and very beautiful
