Private Ganztägige Tour zum Tsavo Ost Nationalpark

Beschreibung

We have seen sooooo many animals: Elephants, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, baboons, giraffes, etc. even a cheetah. Everyone was super nice.
Vielen Dank für das tolle Feedback! :-)
We booked many months ago with this organization decprive day tour to Tsavo east On the site it was mentioned that they leave from Diani beach and also went back there in the evening. You could also choose or request a different pick-up location on the site. Because we already experienced other safaris, we came from Nairobi by train. We booked a beautiful location near Tsavo, the lavender garden hotel. This is to avoid having to travel from Diani beach to the park again. Maw just 48 km from the park. Diani beach is 200 km single. The tour operator offered 14h included, the round trip to Dianibeach. Starting at 5am. This is another six hours surplus. Because I was closer, this was less miles for the driver, because he lived near the park in Voi. That is why we started at 7:30 am. I thought I'd get a longer game drive. After a few stops of the driver we were at the entrance of the park at 9h30. We had a 3 hour game drive. Beautiful views, elephants, lions spotted, buffalo and zebras, gazelles and some typical birds. Then we ate in sentrim tsavo east, just outside the park, between 12h30 and 14h30 back in the park where it was still a quick drive in the park to drop us tss 17h30 and 18h in Mombasa (Nyali) which was easily on the way to Diani beach. We felt we were entitled to 2 hours more game drive for what we booked and paid for. Especially after the experience of the day before when we arrived in Voi by train. We asked this organization if they could send a taxi from Voi trainway station to Lavender garden hotel. They would do this with payment of 1500 Kes, which is normal because this had nothing to do with the booked day trip the day after. Someone was waiting for us at the exit of the train station and it turned out to be the driver who would make our day the next day. So I asked him if it was ok to take us to our booked hotel for 1500 Kes. Then he said there were two lavender hotels. This close is 1500 Kes, but the one we wanted in the mountains was 5500 Kes he said to take us there. We thought this was weird and asked if it was the same hotel boss... He said yes. He took us to lavender nearby and this was called Desa homes there. When we booked lavender garden this was a 3200 Kes for one night. In Desa homes they would charge me 8000 Kes for 1 night. We did not agree to this and asked the driver to take us to the correct lavender we booked. He did this and we paid 5000 Kes to take us. The next day after the game drive of 3.5 hours we decided NOT to tip him anymore.
So sad what you are writing here. 1. You asked us for a taxi from SGR Voi to your hotel. You told us that your hotel is in Tsavo East Park which was not true and it was around Voi. You gave us a wrong information. Our driver needed to drive much more as actually planned, so of course the price must be different. In addition, the taxi pick up has nothing to do with our safari. We just organized it to help you out. 2. We told you from the beginning that this tour actually starts and end in Diani Beach. That’s why the pick up time is at 05h00. As you were not staying in Diani Beach, we couldn’t pick you up that early as the park would have been still closed. You agreed to that. 3. The total hours mentioned in the internet include also the transport from & to Diani Beach. You were not staying there. We can’t stay as long as we want in the park as it is closing. We stayed until the maximum. 4. You forgot to mention that you told us last minute that your return place is a hotel in Nyali Beach, which was also not agreed and which costs us again more time and fuel. We needed to change other tours due to your last minute planning. Even so we did it without asking anything. It is a pity what you are writing here. All this because you can’t read clearly and you gave wrong information. Of course it is always easier to blame others for that.
Good organization x punctuality unfortunately we had the usual van x safaris and having little time we had to do a single day of safaris x which laps x spotting animals (little) we had to do them in the hours too hot and not very indicated x animals that in Kenya now are less and less. Almost all the other tours started from Diani beach were in possession of jeeps much faster and more performing than the big five we saw only 3 lionesses and about twenty elephants no leopards or cheetahs now a real rarity in Kenya once if you went on a kenya safari in Masai Mara or samburu or tsawo you could see almost always now it is almost impossible to find them but what is amazing that we did not see a buffalo only very few impala 2 warthogs from afar and several zebras a little bit given the expense. Nothing to say to the driver who worked himself up driving x almost 14 hours and was always available
It is clearly mentioned that the safari will be in a safari van and not in a jeep! As well as that it is a day trip. Our guides are trying their best to spot animals but the park is not a zoo, so you can't force to see a leopard or a cheetah. There is never a guarantee! This is the risk you take when booking a safari. As per your posted photos, you have seen quiet a lot for just a day trip. Your review is quiet disappointing!
We had a wunderfull Safari experience. Our Driver Edmund did a perfect job driving and spotting animals. 10/10!
Dear Oliver Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy that you enjoyed your trip! Hope to see you again :)
