Bach Dinh, oder der Weiße Palast der Stadt Vung Tau, befindet sich in der Tran Phu Straße 4, am Hang des Big Mountain. Der Weiße Palast liegt 50 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel und trägt seinen französischen Namen: La Villa Blanche.
Die 32 Meter hohe Jesusstatue, die auf einem kleinen Berg mit Blick auf das Meer (The Nui Nho) thront. Sie können die Statue von Christus dem König, eines der wichtigen Symbole von Vung Tau, aus allen Richtungen der Stadt sehen. Aber das Beste ist immer noch, auf den Gipfel des Little Mountain zu klettern und die Statue zu bewundern. Thich Ca Phat Dai (Plattform von Shakyamuni Buddha) ist ein bemerkenswerter Theravada-buddhistischer Tempel in der Küstenstadt Vung Tau im Süden Vietnams. Es liegt nordwestlich des Lon-Gebirges und wurde zwischen 1961 und seiner Eröffnung im Jahr 1963 erbaut. Es befindet sich auf einem etwa fünf Hektar großen Grundstück mit einem Zen-buddhistischen Kloster am Fuße des Grundstücks und dem Thích Ca Phật Đài an der Spitze.
Das Walgrab liegt rechts vom Heiligen Tempel des Thang Tam und wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts zur gleichen Zeit wie der Tempel der fünf Eliments erbaut. Das Grab beherbergt heute ein riesiges Walskelett, das die örtlichen Fischer vor über hundert Jahren gesammelt hatten.

I had an awesome time on this tour with guide Hillbilly Jack and driver Mr. Anh. I was promptly met at the cruise port and we drove to the beautiful seaside town of Vung Tao. Jack was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Vietnam and I got so much excellent information. He’s also got a great sense of humor which added to the fun. We visited pagodas, temples, a monastery and a fish market. We also had some delicious local food. Mr. Anh is a skilled driver and safely navigated the cars and scooters. If you book this tour you’ll be guaranteed a fun and educational day.

We had excellent service from the moment that we booked our tour as we got the confirmation quickly and acknowledgement of the details that I sent about my mobility issues. I had several WhatsApp messages in the days before our tour to introduce Hillbilly Jack, our tour guide, and to confirm the meeting time and place with photographs of the vehicle and lunch menu. We requested to change one item on the menu and this was done promptly. Jack was waiting at the arranged time and place with the clean and comfortable vehicle. Jack was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all his country has to offer. He was able to accommodate the changes that we requested as the tour progressed as my mobility issues were causing some problems. The included lunch was delicious and the food was plentiful. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you Jack and your driver.

I cant recommend Jack From Indochine - Người Từ Đông Dương enough! Jack knew, and explained the local history and culture very well. He had a fantastic sense of humour and had us laughing all day, as you can see from his fantastic photos. It was a day I will always remember! If you ever need a tour guide in Vietnam look him up.
