Nach der morgendlichen Abholung um 5.30 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel aus fahren Sie mit dem Sonnenaufgangsboot auf den heiligen Ganges. Zeugen Sie morgendliche Rituale am Flussufer.
Folgen Sie anschließend Ihrem Führer bei einem kurzen Spaziergang durch die Gassen der Altstadt und sehen Sie den Kashi Vishwanath, einen der heiligsten Hindu-Tempel.
Halten Sie zum Frühstück an (eigene Kosten) und fahren Sie dann um 10 Uhr zur Banaras Hindu University. BHU wurde 1916 gegründet und ist der größte Universitätscampus in Asien. Besuchen Sie den Campus und sehen Sie das Bharat Kala Bhavan Museum und den neuen Vishwanath-Tempel (Birla-Tempel), der eine exakte Nachbildung des ursprünglichen Vishwanath-Tempels darstellt.
Mother India Temple, 1918 erbaut und beherbergt eine ungewöhnliche Reliefkarte aus Marmor des indischen Subkontinents. Um 12.30 Uhr lernen Sie die Seidenweberei in Varanasi kennen und machen dann eine Mittagspause (auf eigene Kosten). Anschließend fahren Sie ungefähr 13 km nach Sarnath, um Dhamekh Stupa zu besuchen, der als der Ort bekannt ist, an dem der Buddha seine erste Predigt hielt. Sie besuchen auch das Archäologische Museum mit Schätzen aus dem 3. Jahrhundert v. Chr. (Freitags geschlossen).
Um 17 Uhr unternehmen Sie eine weitere Bootsfahrt auf dem Ganges, um die Verbrennungsstätte zu besichtigen, und kehren dann nach Dashashwamedh Ghat zurück, um die abendliche Ganga Aarti-Zeremonie zu sehen. Ihre Tour endet mit der Rückkehr in Ihr Hotel gegen 20 Uhr.
Durga Mandir, auch bekannt als Durga Kund Mandir und Durga-Tempel, ist einer der berühmtesten Tempel in der heiligen Stadt Varanasi. Dieser Tempel hat im Hinduismus eine große religiöse Bedeutung und ist Durga gewidmet. Durga Mandir wurde im 18. Jahrhundert von Rani Bhabani aus Natore erbaut.
Der Sankat Mochan Hanuman Tempel ist ein Hindutempel in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Indien und ist dem Hindugott Hanuman in seiner Form als „Sankat Mochan“ gewidmet, was „Erlöser von Problemen“ bedeutet.
Sarnath ist ein Ort 10 Kilometer nordöstlich von Varanasi in der Nähe des Zusammenflusses von Ganges und Varuna in Uttar Pradesh, Indien. Der Wildpark in Sarnath ist der Ort, an dem Gautama Buddha zum ersten Mal das Dharma lehrte und wo durch die Erleuchtung von Kondanna die buddhistische Sangha entstand.

Shiv was an amazing guide! He was early to my hotel, walked with me in the city center, knew the answer to all my questions and on top of that also told me many stories of Hindu gods and the history of the city. I recommend this tour for anyone trying to see not the main attractions of the city but also the temples and interesting places around the city center.

Fantastic tour from start to finish. Anmol very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great day and would highly recommend. Sunrise boat tour and candle ceremony good start to day very peaceful and seeing ghats with beautiful morning light. The temples, university and everything in between.
