Ihr privater Reiseleiter wird Sie zu einem vorher festgelegten Zeitpunkt in Ihrem Hotel in Kusadasi oder im Hafen von Kusadasi abholen. Die Abholzeit wird bei der Bestätigung Ihrer Buchung angegeben.
Nach der Begrüßung haben wir eine 20-minütige Fahrt in die Gegend von Ephesus, um eines der wichtigsten Highlights in der Türkei zu besuchen. Ephesus, eine der 12 Städte der Ionischen Liga (ein antiker griechischer Bezirk an der Westküste Kleinasiens), liegt in der Nähe von Izmir. Als Hafenstadt war es ein wichtiger Ausgangspunkt für Handelsrouten nach Kleinasien. Spazieren Sie durch die Geschichte entlang der Marmorstraßen, die von wunderschönen öffentlichen Gebäuden gesäumt sind. Unter ihnen befinden sich die Bäder von Scholastica und die Bibliothek von Celsus (sie wurde zu Beginn des 2. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. Von Gaius Julius Aquila als Denkmal für seinen Vater Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, den Prokonsul der Provinz Asien, erbaut). Der Hadrian-Tempel und das Große Theater sind zwei der beeindruckendsten Gebäude in Ephesus. Das Große Theater wurde im 3. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Erbaut und später im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Von den Römern auf 24.000 Zuschauer erweitert.
Mittagspause: Wir haben einen köstlichen türkischen Kebap und Mezes mit Salat und alkoholfreien Getränken.
Als nächstes fahren wir zu unserer nächsten Station Milet, einer antiken Stadt in der Nähe des heutigen Akköy an der Mündung des Flusses Buyuk Menderes (Mäander). Milet verdankte seine Bedeutung seiner Position auf den Handelswegen. Es war eine der größten Städte in Anatolien mit einer Bevölkerung zwischen 80.000 und 100.000. Es war sehr wohlhabend, gründete viele Kolonien und war die Heimat der Philosophen Anaximander, Anaximenes und Thales aus dem Jahr 6 v. Chr., Des Stadtplaners Hippodamus und Architekten der Hagia Sophia, Isidorus. Milet hatte eine herausragende Stellung und wurde zum wichtigsten Hafen in dieser Region. Es war das aktivste Mitglied der zwölf Städte der Ionischen Konföderation. Im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Belagerten Lydier die Stadt. Die Stadt wurde dann von Persern, Römern und seldschukischen Türken kontrolliert.
Unser letzter Besuch nach Milet wird Didyma sein. Das Wort Didyma bedeutet „Zwillinge“ und wurde von einigen als Treffpunkt von Zeus und Leto bezeichnet, um ihre Zwillinge Apollo und Artemis zu haben. Didyma war berühmt als ein Prophezeiungszentrum, das Apollo gewidmet war und einem ähnlichen Zweck diente wie die Delphi von Anatolien. Es war keine Stadt, sondern ein Heiligtum, das von Milesianern mit einer 19 km langen heiligen Straße mit Milet verbunden war.
Nach der Tour bringen wir Sie zurück in die Innenstadt oder in den Hafen von Kusadasi.

Die Treffpunkte im Hafen von Kusadasi variieren je nach Schiff. Im Allgemeinen beträgt die Besprechungszeit 45 - 60 Minuten nach Ankunft Ihres Schiffes. It was the best tour of our cruise. We previously visited Ephesus- it was also off the cruise. This time it was even better. Our guide Nejdet was a gentleman. We had a very bad experience in Bodrum previous day. He pledged to make Kusadasi visit a delight and he did deliver. We visited two new places - Priene and Miletus. Didyma was not yet open after renovations. The company contacted us in advance and offered this new itinerary. We agreed with not much enthusiasm, but it was wonderful experience. We got to the sites early in the morning and enjoyed walking without crowds. The sites are underrated. Then we headed to Ephesus and saw it with great pleasure in the new afternoon light. On the way Nej arranged a taste of quick Turkish appetizers for us as we were running late. The food and setting was very nice, we were treated as VIPs. Thank you Nej and company!

Worth every penny. Staying at the Pine Bay Hotel and booked this trip while still in UK, I contacted the tour company who accommodated us being picked up from there no problems. We had a mini bus to ourselves as a family of four. Yavuz was our guide, excellent and very knowledgable. Unfortunately Didyma was closed so we changed our schedule for Priene, Ephesus and as it was very hot we did the Ephesus Museum indoors. We stopped for a very nice lunch by request which was fitted in happily after the outdoor sites when we were ready to cool off. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis for a quick photo of one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world. Would definitely recommend this tour guide for communications, accommodating any changes and excellent knowledge. Also top tip - check Kusasasi Port timetable and choose a day to visit Ephesus when there are no cruise ships or only small ships in port as this will increase the crowds massively if there are big ships in port.
