Geführter Tagesausflug zu den antiken Denkmälern des Westjordanlands in Luxor. Zu den Highlights gehören das Tal der Könige und die berüchtigte Nekropole von Theben, das Grab von Tutanchamun , Grab von Ramses III , das Grab von Merenptah, das Grab von Ramses lV .Sie werden von einem lizenzierten ägyptischen Reiseleiter geführt und mit einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten transportiert.

Das Grab von Ramses III, das als KV 11 bezeichnet wird, ist ein komplexes System im Tal der Könige. Es ist seit dem Altertum bekannt für seine wundervollen Dekorationen, u. a. farbenfroh bemalte, eingelassene Reliefs mit den traditionellen rituellen Texten (Litanei des Ra, Totenbuch usw.) und Ramses vor den Göttern. Ungewöhnlich sind hier die weltlichen Szenen in den kleinen Seitenräumen des Eingangskorridors, die ausländische Opfergaben zeigen, wie z. B. eine äußerst detaillierte Töpferei, die aus der Ägäis importiert wurde, die königliche Waffenkammer, Boote und in den letzten dieser Seitenkammern die blinden Harfenspieler, die dem Grab einen seiner alternativen Namen gaben: „Grab der Harfenspieler“
Am Morgen werden Sie von Ihrem Hotel im Zentrum von Luxor oder Hafen mit einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug für eine vollständige geführte Fahrt von etwa 4 Stunden abgeholt. Zuerst werden Sie zur Nekropole von Theben, dem Tal der Könige am Westufer von Luxor, gebracht. Diese alte Nekropole ist ein Muss für Luxor-Reisende. Dort besuchen Sie vier Königsgräber, darunter das Grab des Ramses, das Grab des Horemheb, das Grab des Merenptah .Tal der Könige am Westufer von Luxor.
In der ägyptischen Mythologie ist Ptah der Demiurg von Memphis, Gott der Handwerker und Architekten. Die Falkenform der neuen Gottheit wurde zusammen mit den Toten auf ihrer Reise in den Westen von Luxor in Grabstätten gegeben. Grab 8, das sich im Tal der Könige befindet, war das Grab des Pharao Merenptah und ist das Modell für königliche Gräber Merenptah war ein Sohn von Ramses II und der Königin Isis-Nofretete. Das Grab wurde 1903 von Howard Carter entdeckt. Die Anzahl der angeschlossenen Kammern wurde drastisch verringert, während die Höhe der Kammern und Gänge dramatisch erhöht wurde. Er hat die seit Horemheb verwendete Rüttelachse abgeschafft und stattdessen das gesamte Grab auf einer einzigen Achse erstellt. Außerdem wurde der Eingang zum ersten Mal deutlich breiter als bei früheren Gräbern gestaltet.
Eintrittspreise zum Grab Tutanchamuns (450 EGP) (optional) König Tutanchamun, der berühmteste König der Welt. Dieser junge König aus dem Neuen Reich war etwa 10 Jahre alt, als er den Thron bestieg und starb, als er erst 19 war. Sie erhalten die Chance, seiner königlichen Mumie in seinem Grab im Tal der Könige gegenüber zu stehen
Tempel von Merenptah, Westufer von Luxor
Das Grab von Ramses IV (KV 2) im Tal der Könige ist etwas anderes als die meisten anderen hier errichteten Gräber. Dieses Grab ist bei weitem das spektakulärste der anderen Gräber, die Sie sehen werden. Die Hieroglyphen an der Wand zeigen Szenen aus der Litanei von Ra, dem Buch der Toten, dem Buch der Höhlen, dem Buch der Himmel, dem Buch von Amduat und dem Buch der Nacht. Die blauen und weißen Farben an den Wänden in der Grabkammer sind sehr lebendig und man kann den Königsarkophag aus rosafarbenem Granit sehen. Es gibt auch eine wunderschöne Szene mit der Göttin Nuss an der Decke, in der sie dargestellt ist, wie sie die Sonne schluckt und sie durch ihren Bauch wandert, damit Nuss sie zur Welt bringt. Das Grab hat so viel Farbe und Detail, dass sich sogar die Decke über den Sarkophagen mit seiner Göttin Nuss über den Raum erstreckt. Der Sarkophag ist einer der größten im Tal, auch wenn einige Gemälde beschädigt sind, ist er einer der am meisten geschmückten.
Ramesseum (Totentempel von Ramses II.)
Grab von König Ramesses Ix war der dritte Pharao der zwanzigsten Dynastie des Neuen Königreichs des Alten Ägypten. Sein Name vor der Übernahme der Krone war Amonhirkhopshef. Er war der fünfte Sohn von Ramesses III. und wurde im zweiundzwanzigsten Regierungsjahr seines Vaters zum Kronprinzen ernannt, als alle vier seiner älteren Brüder seine Beförderung zum Kronprinzen vorverstorben. Das Grab hat so viel Farbe und Details, sogar die Decke über den Sarkophagen mit seiner Göttin Nut, die sich über den Raum erstreckt. Der Sarkophag ist einer der größten im Tal, auch wenn einige der Gemälde verfallen sind, ist dies eines der am meisten verzierten.

Easily booked, great informative and helpful guide (Hassan) clean and modern minibus with great aircon. As this was our second visit to the Valley of the Kings we had an idea of what we wanted to see, this was easily facilitated by Hassan. We had an interesting insight into the history of the Valley and some great information on the stories we would see in the tombs. If you’re on one of the TUI cruises and don’t want to do the whole day trip offered with them then this is a good alternative, safe and definitely value for money.

We had a private tour booked to visit the tombs / Valleyof the Kings. Our guide Amil, was very knowledgeable and funny, he gave the story of the tombs etc, however he stayed in the cafe area whilst we walked around the tombs amd valley on our own. We noticed other guides following to the door of the tomb, telling the story in detail of each. It could have been nice to get this detail for each, however walking around on our own enabled us to see more than the three tombs included with the ticket. We also saw King Tut’s tomb which costs extra., but we felt worth it. We also went to visit Hatshepsut’s temple, again our guide waited in the cafe whilst we walked around the temple on our own. Definitely recommend the experience, but look carefully gor a guide that stays with you if that is ehat you want.

I feel so lucky that Hasan was our tour guide on our private tour to the valley of the kings. He made the Egyptian history come alive and he was such a fantastic story teller. The kids loved him, and he made our visit smooth and as enjoyable as it can possible be when you are queening with thousands of other tourists in blazing heat to see the tombs (with two sometimes grumpy kids). Having the luxury of a private guide meant that we could leave when the kids had enough and we could do things in our own tempo. Hassan was very responsive to us and an all in all kind man. I highly recommend this tour.

Very well organised, khalid was an excellent, passionate guide with plenty of information but not excessive. We visited all the sights we wanted too and were able to opt out of the alabaster tour which was not of interest. Easy morning and we beat the crowds. Everything ran to time.
