Wir werden auch Eva Perons Grab besuchen, und ihre Geschichten von gestern und immer. Dann besuchen wir seine symbolträchtigsten Punkte und den Messe- und Kunsthandwerkermarkt. Our tour guide - Yami was wonderful. She had detailed knowledge about this very interesting cemetery. We learned so much and could have spent even more time in this special place. I was able to finally pay my respect to Eva Duarte Peron - "Evita" which has long been a bucket list item.

This was a wonderful tour and I learned so much about the cemetery and local area history. Juan Miguel did an excellent job providing information about the cemetary and telling interesting stories about the families buried there. The tour continued with a lovely walk through Recoleta and pointing out important historical areas. I highly recommend this tour.

Juan Manuel Sanchez gave an excellent tour of the cemetery and surrounding area. He was able to use the mausoleums as starting points of conversations that introduced us to Argentinian history. We had a request to visit a specific mausoleum that was difficult to find. Juan made the extra effort to research the location, direct us to the area and provide us with new insights into the monument’s creator. After the cemetery, Juan showed us Recoleta and helped us plan our remaining time in Buenos Aires. Juan’s understanding of Argentinian history and mastery of the English language created an excellent morning tour. Highly recommended.

We tried to go a tour early in the day which was cancelled when we ended up with Jemina. Very fortunate for us! She was an excellent guide with a thorough knowledge of the cemetery and its resident’s histories. You can tell she loves her country & her and her tour. This is not like any cemetery that you have been to before (if you have ever been to another one)The mausoleums are incredible with fabulous stories. We found out why this is on the list of must do.
