Die einzigartige Sammlung des Museums zeigt winzige Kunstwerke, die unter der Lupe zu sehen sind. Es ist ein Werk eines bekannten Handwerkers Mykola Syadristy. * Optional, Museum ist dienstags geschlossen.
Einer der Höhepunkte der Oberen Lavra ist ein 96 Meter hoher Glockenturm, der das Territorium des Klosters überragt. Sie können die Treppe hinaufsteigen und die Stadt aus der Vogelperspektive betrachten.
Eine alte Kirche im nördlichen Teil von Lavra ist ein wichtiges Baudenkmal.

- Eine Kleiderordnung ist erforderlich, um in das Revier Kiewer Höhlenkloster zu gelangen. Keine Shorts oder ärmellose Oberteile erlaubt. Knie und Schultern müssen für Männer und Frauen bedeckt sein. Frauen sollten ein Kopftuch oder einen Schal haben, um den Kopf zu bedecken. Sie können die Einreiseverweigerung riskieren, wenn Sie diese Kleidungsanforderungen nicht erfüllen
- Die Lavra-Höhlen schließen im Sommer um 16.30 Uhr und im Winter um 15.30 Uhr.
- Die Wanderung hat unebene Oberflächen, bitte tragen Sie bequeme Schuhe

Very nice and spacious complex. Here you have to plan some time, but is absolutely worth seeing. In any case, you have to visit!
Lots of pretty art to see on the interior and exterior of buildings,and interesting history. Guide made it a lot easier to understand what we were seeing.

Thank you so very much, we had a great trip, our personal guide Serge was amazing, his knowledge of history and the Ukraine was off the scale, we were collected on time from our hotel which is where our tour started, and spent three hours learning lots and having a private tour. This would have been very difficult doing this alone as things were not clear and there were no evidence of English guides etc. Would recommend 100% and enjoyed our visit very much, made a great day. This was a wonderful tour. Very beautiful country side and panoramic views. Our guide made it even more special with his insight and desire to please his clients. Nickolai spoke excellent English and was very enthusiastic about the different aspects of the Lavra. Would highly recommend the tour.

I wanted to do know more than if I went around by myself and my guide Svetlana was exceptional. I learned about the present day activities, different styles of monks and their according burial styles and plenty more about the interesting history of the monastery. Would highly recommend if you're interested in more than just photos.

Very knowledgeable and beautiful guide Katya was awesome. My 6 year old son fell in love with her. She was very professional, patient and sweet. Lavra is something to see on anyone's bucket list. If you are in Kyiv for a whole day, this is the place to visit. Its huge, so make sure you have enough time.

Monday 8 July 2019 I made the excursion to the LAVRA monastery with a private guide Nicolaj. This erudite man made for an unforgettable trip. He picked us up very punctually at the hotel, and pointed us to numerous places of interest in Kiev along the way. At the location he provided us with a very detailed historical framework of the how and why of this monastery. In the caves themselves he forced the passage to wings that were not normally even open to the general public. He also made it possible to secretly take pictures where it was not allowed by all kinds of patronizing regulations. All this out of genuine pride for the cultural richness of his country, and the will that the general public should learn to appreciate it as well. In short: this tour is highly recommended, and ask especially for the guide Nicolaj if you want something more than a boring dull tour.

Excellent tour by very knowledgeable guide who after the tour gave us good advice on restaurants and on moving on to the WWII Museum which was a short walk away
