The scenery in Chapala and Ajijic was beautiful. You are advised to enjoy a drink of Tejuino while walking along the Chapala seawall and the carafe snow in Ajijic.
Ruben was a WONDERFUL guide. I went on this tour with some office colleagues who are based in Guadalajara. We had a great time visiting the different locations and learning a bit about each one. I would recommend this trip.
It was very expensive Uber ride. Guide was not motivated to explain the area and things we can do in the area. Only Chapala was worth going. Rest stops were boring, walked around and ate lunch at the last stop and came back. My recommendation is just Uber to Chapala and spend time there and Uber back. I expected guide to give us more than just driving us to place and just give us few sentences about the place then we walk around take pictures and then just go to next stop. Guide should be excited and motivate us to listen and learn about the place instead asking us if we like to go to visit or not. How should we know if we should visit or not since it is our first time. Guide said Chapala lake is polluted so be careful touching the water in the lake!
Hi Mark, Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations. We always strive to provide engaging and informative tours, and I truly regret that this wasn’t the case for you. Your comments about the guide’s enthusiasm and the structure of the tour are valuable, and I’ll make sure to address them with our team to improve. I appreciate your time in sharing this, and if there’s anything I can do to make it up to you, please let me know. Best, Jorge
Great experience! Our tour guide, Mauricio was awesome! He’s a local and had great knowledge of both Chapala and Ajijic. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone.
Jesus our tour guide was very professional, friendly and informative. He showed us around town and also took us too historical buildings and the Mercado in town. He took us to a very romantic spot for lunch and had a good view of the chapala lake. We really enjoyed the afternoon
They were all good. Very informative guide and interesting to talk to. Very interesting area and good food,
We visited some nice places like Chapala and Ajijic but…….this private tour was really a taxi ride. They dropped us at the different spots and gave us free time on our own. The restaurant they dropped us at for lunch, had a nice view but the food was not good. We appreciated the taxi driver that despite the fact he was sick managed to make it until the end.
Hola Rocio. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We're truly sorry to hear that your private tour experience didn't live up to your expectations. While we're glad you enjoyed the sights in Chapala and Ajijic, we understand the importance of a well-guided tour that goes beyond just transportation. It's disappointing to hear that the restaurant we chose for lunch didn't meet your culinary expectations. We'll certainly take your feedback into account and reevaluate our selection process to ensure that we provide top-quality dining experiences for our guests. We also deeply appreciate your recognition of the taxi driver's dedication, even while feeling unwell. It's heartening to hear such appreciation for our team members. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us as we strive to improve our services and create more enriching experiences for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a truly exceptional tour experience. Saludos
The whole day was memorable. Asking the question which was the best part is like asking a mother which of her children she likes the best. Unanimously three of us agreed it was a wonderful day well spent. Our guide Jesus was outstanding.
I really liked the organization, also the tour especially to Ajijic was magical, I love it. I had my reservations with Chapala and they dispelled them definitively if I return.
