Der Hassan-Turm ist ein symbolträchtiger Turm von Rabat, der Hauptstadt Marokkos, und bildet das Minarett einer unvollendeten Moschee aus dem 12. Jahrhundert
Die Kasbah von Oudaya(s), oder Oudaïa(s), ist ein ehemaliges befestigtes Militärlager in Rabat, das im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Seit 2012 steht die Kasbah auf der Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes [1]. Insbesondere finden wir einen der ersten Paläste, der von der noch immer regierenden Königsdynastie der Alaouiten erbaut wurde.
Wir nehmen Sie mit, um die Festung von Challa zu entdecken, die 2012 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört und eine der wichtigsten Touristenattraktionen von Rabat ist. Es enthält römische Überreste sowie eine mittelalterliche muslimische Nekropole.
Der Königspalast (ehemals Kaiserpalast oder „dar el-makhzen“) in Rabat, der Hauptstadt Marokkos, ist der wichtigste Königspalast des Landes und die offizielle Residenz der marokkanischen Königsfamilie. Ursprünglich war er der Palast der alawitischen Sultane, heute ist er einer der zahlreichen Paläste oder königlichen Residenzen der „Kaiserstädte“ (dars el makhzen). Dies ist der Fall im Skhirat-Palast, wo während der Zeit von König Hassan II. ein Putschversuch stattfand. Heutzutage gilt der Königspalast von Rabat eher als Verwaltungsgebäude, tatsächlich residiert König Mohammed VI. (Sohn von Hassan II.) dort nicht[1]. In diesem Palast befindet sich der Regierungssitz.

Excellent tour and really great guide/driver Ayoub. He was very knowledgeable all along the drive itself explaining the history of the places we saw. We were able to spend as much time at each stop as we wanted, he was happy for us to go at our own pace.
