Schloss Peleș ist eine prächtige Neorenaissance-Festung in den Karpaten bei Sinaia. Zwischen 1873 und 1914 unter König Carol I. als königliche Residenz und Jagdschloss erbaut, verbindet es germanische Renaissance, gotische Wiederbelebung und Barockstil. Das Schloss ist von angelegten Gärten umgeben und bietet einen atemberaubenden Bergblick. Im Inneren verfügt es über 160 Räume, darunter königliche Wohnungen, Bibliotheken und eine Sammlung europäischer Kunst, Skulpturen und mittelalterlicher Waffen. Peleș ist bekannt für seine aufwendigen Holzarbeiten, Buntglasfenster und aufwendige Einrichtung und spiegelt Rumäniens königliche Opulenz wider. Die königliche Waffenkammer zeigt eine reiche Sammlung mittelalterlicher Waffen. Als eine der beliebtesten Attraktionen Rumäniens ist die Burg Peleș ein Symbol für königliches Kulturerbe und architektonische Exzellenz. Seine malerische Lage in einem üppigen Wald macht es zu einem Muss in Siebenbürgen. !!!! Montags und dienstags ist Schloss Peleș innen geschlossen. Nur die Gärten und Außenbereiche können besichtigt werden.
Die Burg Bran, oft auch "Draculas Burg" genannt, ist eine historische Festung in den Karpaten bei Brașov. Im 14. Jahrhundert erbaut, diente es als militärische Festung und königliche Residenz, die den Gebirgspass bewachte. Die gotische, Renaissance- und mittelalterliche Architektur des Schlosses mit ihren ikonischen Türmen und der Zugbrücke tragen zu seinem mysteriösen Reiz bei. Berühmt für seine Verbindung mit Bram Stokers fiktivem Charakter Graf Dracula, verfügt das Schloss über gut erhaltene Räume mit Kunst und Möbeln aus seiner königlichen Vergangenheit, einschließlich seiner Nutzung in den 1920er Jahren. Umgeben von üppigen Wäldern und malerischen Bergen ist die Burg Bran eine der meistbesuchten Attraktionen Rumäniens, die sowohl Geschichtsbegeisterte als auch Dracula-Fans anzieht. Our Driver-quide was on time and very helpful during our one day visit to Sinai city, Dracula castle and Peles Castle. The car was very clean, he was very polite and he offered to help us in everything we needed. We strongly recommend to choose him and for sure we will call him again in the future.

An unforgettable experience. From the first moment to the last. Octavian, a great driver, made us feel super safe the entire time; he was very polite and kind, and he ensured that we will never forget these moments. We had a great day out on this excursion. It is a long day with plenty of driving but the scenery was wonderful and the time passed quickly with our excellent guide, Roxana. She was very informative and knowledgeable and gave us a wealth of information on the history and culture of this lovely country. Very highly recommended. Thank you.

A huge thanks to Octavio for making our day so special and memorable. How he shared his encyclopedic knowledge of the area with such passion and humour made the excellent tour even more enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable and spacious for eight of us "girls" (celebrating our 60th birthdays). He knew all of the clean and well serviced places to stop for breaks on the journey there and back, and constantly looked out for our safety/security. He really did add something to the overall experience, including knowing exactly where to take the best photos, and where to sit and enjoy a delicious meal while people watching.

Best choice … we wanted a small group your & not the “bus” experience, and was not disappointed. Octavian was a terrific driver and guide , and was flexible with our itinerary, and helped us through the maze of queues. Octavians knowledge of history is second to none … and weaved the history and Romanian context all along a trip so we were not bored … the castles were terrific , and our trip to Romania would have been incomplete without visiting them. The best day ever in Romaina our driver was polite and considered our interest he was extremely knowledgeable in not only the history of the places we visited Peles Castle Bran Castle and Brasov but of the surrounding area the past invasions what happen during war times and the local crops. Ausgtine was able to insure that the day was tailored to our interests and was extremely considerate about my physical ability ans insure the guides at the places we visited took great care of us Fantastic experience
