Diese historische 5-6 Stunden Tour wird von einem qualifizierten Dachauer KZ-Gedenkstättenführer durchgeführt. Sie werden von Ihrem Guide entweder von Ihrem Hotel in der Münchner Innenstadt oder vom Hauptbahnhof abgeholt. Nach Ihrer Führung an der Gedenkstätte kehren Sie zu Ihrem Hotel oder zu einem Ort im Zentrum Münchens Ihrer Wahl zurück.

Wir werden Sie in Ihrer Unterkunft oder am Münchner Hauptbahnhof abholen
Nach der Abholung fahren wir mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zur ehemaligen KZ-Gedenkstätte Dachau.
Die Tour ist so konzipiert, dass sie den Empfehlungen des Comite International de Dachau (CID) folgt, einer Gruppe von Überlebenden, die mitgeholfen haben, das Memorial Museum mit dem Ziel zu schaffen, dem "Pfad der Gefangenen" zu folgen. Die Tour führt die Gefangenen von ihrer Ankunft bis zur Verwaltung, zu ihrem täglichen Leben und manchmal auch zu ihrem Tod. Die Tour beinhaltet auch: • Diskussion der verschiedenen Lagertypen • Entwicklung des Konzentrationslagersystems • Erklärung, wie Dachau zum Musterlager für das gesamte System wurde • Geschichten von einzelnen Überlebenden • Diskussion über den Umgang der Deutschen mit diesem Aspekt ihrer Geschichte • Wie die Gedenkstätte zu einem integralen Lernort wurde
Nach dem Besuch des Museumskomplexes und der Besichtigung der ursprünglichen Gebäude, einschließlich der ursprünglichen Gaskammer und der Krematorien, kehren Sie zum ursprünglichen Ausgangspunkt zurück (München Hauptbahnhof oder Ihre Unterkunft).

Very informative. Our guide did a good job explaining how and why the Nazis came to power. How propaganda played a big role in the regime. It’s very important we learn from the past so that history doesn’t repeat itself.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a great overview on the ride to Dachau so that he could focus on specifics while on site. He also gave us time to explore on our own as well. Of course this is a very emotional tour so he allowed us time to simply "be" with the experience. He did a great job keeping us away from the large group tours so we could hear him and ask questions as needed. I highly recommend this private tour.
Keith did a fantastic job with the history; not only of Dachau but the events leading up to it and the surrounding area. He also gave some good history on the other nations who contributed to the demise of people who were imprisoned at Dachau and other camps. I learned more about this part of history from Keith in a day than ever before. Very well done and mindful of our time and desires within the tour.

After my travel buddy opted out of the tour having been overwhelmed by our tour of Eagle’s Nest the day before, I had the ultimate pleasure of a private tour of Dachau. Keith Finneran, my guide, is a well trained guide and tailored the tour to my wishes. I have seen several concentration camps and Dachau is one of the best preserved. Along with excellent reproductions, well designed information plaques, and an extremely well informed guide, this tour exceeded my expectations. The short train and bus ride after being met at my hotel was very convenient. I continue to be impressed by Germany’s preservation and documentation of this horrific time in their recent past.
