Another Fabulous Experience
Although it had been some years since our last visit, there was only ever one company we knew we wanted to do our excursion with . . . UMM! Fabulous email communication to sort out dates/times prior to arriving on the island and on the day itself Tobias turned up bang on 8am for the start of a wonderful morning. Tobias was so knowledgeable about this amazing island, but it was also like having a catch up with an old friend discussing football, tourism and flowers! We saw exactly what we had requested, so another fab day out with you. Hopefully we won’t leave it as long before we see you guys again 😎

Great tour!
Tour in open jeep, we were 6 adults (also grandmother of 80 years) and we all loved it. Miguel was enthusiastic and knew smart routes so we avoided crowds. The off-road route through rough terrain gives some shocks through the rough and dense terrain but for that you also book this tour, it must be adventurous. Our children of 21 and 19 were just as excited as we were. We visited beautiful places and because it is a private tour you also have a say in what you want to see (within the time frame of course).

What a ride, we went out of town and up into the mountains where we were taken to some amazing places. Going off road was great and we learned so much about the island

Majestic open air jeep tour of Funchal mountain area.
An excellent tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and was a great driver. Not an average tour, we saw many things we may have never been able to see. The views were breathtaking, we would recommend this tour to everyone.

Madeira delivered splendidly!
Edgar was friendly and professional. From Picking us up at the port, sipping wine, explaining everything about his beautiful island, 4wheel driving, site seeing, you name it, he delivered all extremely well! Thank you, Edgar, for a memorable day on Madeira!

Half day tour
Great half day trip with knowledgeable guide with great sense of humour. The only way to see Maderia in a jeep! Cannot rate these guys enough. Would recommend to anyone with a short amount of time

Excellent Madeira Safari half day tour!
We were in Madeira on a cruise and did a half day jeep tour with Up Mountain Madeira.
Our ship's schedule was changed at the last minute and Nico from Up Mountain Madeira was very accommodating with rescheduling our tour.
Tiago, our great guide, picked us up at the port and took us to a few beautiful places on the island like the Cabo Girao skywalk and also did some off-roading in an amazing forest.
We really enjoyed our day.

Up up and up the mountain in Madeira
Nico, our Guide was excellent. It was obvious that he enjoys his job and he was thoughtful engaging funny patient and kind. The off road part of this tour will be remembered fondly. Enjoyed our tour.

Excellent experience
What an incredible trip! Thanks to our driver for a fabulous experience around the lovely parts of the island! This experience is highly recommend and well worth it especially considering how personalised it is! Our driver was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of tips and information.
