Unsere erste Station des Tages ist ein wunderschönes Weingut, das einer unserer renommierten italienischen Adelsfamilien gehört. Hier probieren wir drei Weine gepaart mit Salumi (Wurstwaren) – aber zuerst gibt es eine faszinierende Führung durch die historischen Keller und die Olivenmühle, die wir durch unterirdische Tunnel erreichen, die unter der Villa verlaufen
Schnallen Sie sich jetzt an und machen Sie sich bereit für eine Offroad-Fahrt durch alte Wälder und sanfte Hügel. Steigen Sie in das 4x4-Fahrzeug und genießen Sie die wunderschöne Landschaft, von den Zypressen bis zu den rustikalen Bauernhöfen und Kirchen, während wir uns auf den Weg nach Rignana machen, einem typisch toskanischen Restaurant und Weingut mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Bereiten Sie Ihre Geschmacksknospen auf ein Mittagessen mit köstlichen Speisen und Rotwein (und einer Blindverkostung von Olivenöl) vor. Sie werden nicht gehen wollen!
Das Abenteuer geht weiter, während wir unsere Fahrt durch die unglaubliche Landschaft auf unserem Weg zu unserem letzten Halt des Tages fortsetzen. Hier machen Sie einen Rundgang durch die beeindruckende Villa und hören von einigen unglaublichen Ereignissen, die hier in den letzten 600 Jahren passiert sind, und von den berühmten Familien, die hier gelebt haben. Sie haben Zeit, sich zu entspannen und durch das atemberaubende Gelände zu spazieren, die einzigartige Schönheit und Aussicht zu genießen, während Sie mehr über Wein erfahren, bevor Sie sich zur abschließenden Verkostung von drei Weinen mit Käse setzen. Der perfekte Abschluss eines wirklich unvergesslichen Tages.

This was a terrific experience if you want to visit a beautiful winery, have a scenic drive throughout Tuscany followed by a delicious lunch. Our guide Sarah was outstanding--she was knowledgeable in every way!!!

We didn’t have a car, but wanted a day out of the city during our weeklong stay in Florence. This tour was perfect. We were about a dozen people, hosted by a very attentive and helpful guide, her name was Oz. We were driven to a gorgeous historic villa, where a wealthy family makes wine and opens their home and production facilities to small groups like ours. We enjoyed a wine tasting after visiting the grounds and cellar, then were driven through the gorgeous Tuscan hills to a country restaurant with views to die for. More delicious Chianti, followed by a family style meal served in one of the most beautiful locations ever. If I’m being super picky, I’d say the food there was not “wow”, but everything other aspect of this tour was so good that it didn’t really matter. It was simply a lovely day and very much recommended.
The best time ever. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Italy. Our tour guide Fabian was incredible and so knowledgeable about the city, wineries and history.

We took the Wine Safari and it was amazing!!! Our guide Sara was the most wonderful guide we have ever had. She knows a lot about wines and loved everything we learned from her. She is funny and very helpful. The tour gets you to wonderful wineries and we had lovely lunch in one of them. Fabio our chofer was wonderful too. This tour I recommend a lot. You see the Italian country side which is incredibly beautiful. Loved everything!!!!

Alex took us into the countryside to two amazing wineries. We had an incredible lunch at the first. Both places were welcoming and informative. The entire day was perfect and Alex made sure we had the best time. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Highly recommend booking with Walkabout.

We had a great time on this tour. We received a great education on winemaking and the production of olive oil. The wines and the food were excellent. Our guide, Fabio, was the best -- full of humor, but also insightful and knowledgeable. Easily the best wine tour I've ever done.

Hands down the best thing we did on our honeymoon to Florence! Fabi our guide was cheeky and fun, but super knowledgeable on all things wine and Florence. The 3 wineries we stopped at (2 for tasting, 1 for lunch ... and wine) were gorgeous, historic, and had the best wine I've ever had. I would do this entire day again if I could... it was perfect. We also did another winery tour through a different company on a different day and it did not even come close to as good of an experience we had with WalkAbout's Safari tour. Do yourself a favor, book through WalkAbout, they're professional, kind, and make the entire experience easy and enjoyable.
