Super worthwhile experience! We learned so much about the Troubles and what it was like to live in Belfast up until the Good Friday agreement. Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, our guide had an amazing sense of humor and was so easy to chat and fun to chat with. Highly recommend this tour and Mark in particular as a guide!

When we arrived in Belfast, it was quite rainy and we were looking for activities. We didn't know that much about the Troubles, and sitting inside a cab sounded good, with the pouring rain. We booked one hour before our tour started and the communication was very quick and complete. When waiting for our driver, we had a chat with other drivers, waiting for their passengers. We toured for about 1,5 hours and got a lot of information. Our driver took his time and was open for all our questions.

We had an outstanding experience on the Belfast Black Taxi Tour and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Belfast’s history. Our guide, John, was incredibly informative and engaging in the way he shared the story of the Troubles. The Mercedes van was very comfortable for our group of five. The tour actually ran longer than we expected, simply because it was so interesting and thought‑provoking. We never felt rushed, and John answered every question with patience and depth. A small tip: bring your own bottled water. This tour was a highlight of our time in Belfast. Highly recommended.

We weren’t sure what to expect on the tour. Our driver Anthony picked us up early and explained what we’d be seeing/hearing about. He was really knowledgeable and open to us asking lots of questions. It was eye opening to learn from someone who has lived in Belfast his whole life. We would highly recommend taking a tour.
