We were originally scheduled with another tour guide who unfortunately got sick, so we were incredibly grateful that Tiago was able to step in and lead our tour instead. We really appreciated him making time for us in his schedule. The tour itself was amazing. Tiago showed us all around Berlin, with delicious stops for döner, currywurst, and beer. He was very knowledgeable about Berlin’s history and answered all of our questions with ease. This was a true highlight of our trip, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.
We're very happy to read you had a fantastic time with Tiago! He's indeed a great person and guide. All the best from the Fork & Walk Team.
Outstanding guide. Dimitrios. Very interesting food /restos. It turned out to be a small group. Just two couples and our guide.
Happy to hear you enjoyed the tour, thanks for the review!
Dimitrios did an amazing job with our tour guide, being so kind and humorous, while providing great knowledge and giving us an overall great experience!
We are happy you enjoyed your tour with Dimitrios!
Don’t mistake this for a fine dining food tour but the selection of street food is pretty good. Our tour guide Lee did a great job!
We are glad you enjoyed the tour!
Marcel was a great guide. Lots of historical context as well as interesting food. Definitely a good way to familiarize oneself with the city writ large as well as the eclectic food scene.
Eclectic is exactly the right word for Berlin's food scene! Glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Marcel. We have passed on the 5 stars to him :)
Such a great tour! Our guide (blanking on name, middle aged gentleman) was amazing and so knowledgeable. He mixed history with food and fun! It was a great time and our group was so fun. Highly recommend!
Lovely! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your tour (with Holger :) ). He has so many stories to tell and always enjoys sharing them with curious guests. And thank you for leaving us a review!
Violetta was an excellent guide so our rating does not relate to her. She was knowledgable and friendly. Our issue with the tour was that it was too much $$$ for what we were given. For the amount of money this tour cost, we should have had at least a full currywurst and a whole donut.
Dear guest, thank you for your honest feedback. It is always a shame when the quality of the tastings is not discussed and instead simply an amount of food. While we always strive to have more than enough tastings to fill the hungriest of guests, our price reflects both the quality of our tour guide and the quality of our food and locations. This is where our value lies. Any complaint we take very seriously and as such have followed up with your guide to hear about the full tour. The feedback was that each location was served as planned, with additional food at one location. The last dessert location the guests advised they were full, so a 2 instead of 3 desserts were chosen. We have followed up with you directly via email to hear further as to why this tour deserved 3-stars when the correct amount of tastings were served as per the website tour page. We look feeling to resolving this issue with you.
Our food tour got off to a difficult start due to a change of starting. points. Apparently email notification had been sent, but I never received mine. Our tour guide contacted us, and was able to wait until our cab caught up. The tour itself was quite delightful, We are Happie buns, falafel sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. Throughout, our guide was hospitable and accommodating.
Happy to hear you had a wonderful tour regardless of the rocky start! All the best from the team @ Fork & Walk
We had a great tour with Hogar (not exactly sure about the spelling). He took on a food tour in an area that we would not have gone to on our own. The food was filling and delicious but he also served up healthy portions of context as to how the food got there. The intertwined history of the area, the waves of immigrants and how they adapted to what was already there was fascinating. Now we know why there are empty beer bottles placed under the trash receptacles.
It sounds like you got the real local experience! (And now you can leave your empty bottles wherever you want ;) ) Thank you for leaving us a review and we'll make sure to let Holger know <3
Wow, superb!!! what a fantastic way to spend the afternoon in Berlin. Our tour guide Will was so knowledgeable about the history of Kreuzberg, Berlin and Germany as a whole, whilst weaving in how this delicious food played a part in this truly interesting part of the world. It truly felt like he was one of our mates, just taking us around to his favorite spots. I can't recommend this tour more highly.
Thank you for the superb review! Will thoroughly enjoyed sharing his favorite spots with you all!
