Unser erster Halt wird das schönste, älteste und imposanteste Denkmal der Welt sein. Die Akropolis. Von hier aus werden wir uns das Leben im antiken Griechenland vorstellen und über das Leben der Menschen sprechen, die die Kultur geschaffen haben
Wir werden das Panathenaic Stadium besuchen, wo die Olympischen Spiele begannen. Das Panathenaische Stadion ist ein klassisches und kulturelles Denkmal Griechenlands und eines der wichtigsten Denkmäler nicht nur für Athen, sondern für ganz Griechenland. Es ist eine der beliebtesten Touristenattraktionen unserer Stadt und eines der Wahrzeichen Athens.
Wir begeben uns zum Platz der Verfassung (Syntagma-Platz) im Herzen des modernen Athens. Wir werden Fotos von den Evzonen machen. Der Name Evzones oder Evzonoi bezieht sich auf die Mitglieder der Präsidentengarde, einer zeremoniellen Einheit, die das griechische Grab des unbekannten Soldaten bewacht
Wir besuchen das schönste neoklassizistische Gebäude in Europa. Das Hauptgebäude der Akademie ist eines der wichtigsten Wahrzeichen Athens und Teil der sogenannten Trilogie. Die Organisation der Akademie von Athen, deren Titel auf die alte Akademie von Platon zurückgeht, wurde am 18. März 1926 gegründet.
Wir werden am Athener Rathaus und am Kotzia-Platz ankommen, der ursprünglich Ludovico-Platz hieß, zu Ehren von König Othons Vater (Othon war der erste König von Griechenland).
Wir werden Varvakio sehen .... Varvakios Agora (Zentraler Markt von Athen). Dies ist buchstäblich die Grand Central Station für Lebensmittel. Mach keinen Fehler; Alle Geschäfte sind hier, von Starköchen bis hin zu Lebensmittelgeschäften in der Nachbarschaft

Wonderful and informative guide (Mercury). We would 100% do this again. Acropolis in the evening after cruise ships folks have left is the way to go! No huge crowds and a beautiful breeze and sunset.

We are a couple from Mexico and we were lucky enough to take this tour. The knowledge of the guide, Paris, is extraordinary. Not only in terms of culture, but also in ways of getting there earlier, avoiding crowds, and locating the best places where local people eat and drink. The same goes for the driver we had, Nicholas, who was indispensable in dealing with such a vibrant city full of people and cars. motorbikes and buses as is Athens. Athina the managing director was amazing at helping me plan the prefect private tour to see as many of the amazing sights of Athens in just one day. She communicated all options available and even customized the trip to meet some of my needs including airport transfer which I would highly recommend as it made our trip after a long flight an easy pleasant experience. The driver and vehicle who took us on the tour were prompt, professional and fun, our tour director for the day was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, fun and absolutely dedicated to making sure we had the best day ever. We absolutely loved our tour! It was a great way to see all of the city highlights in a private, efficient way! Not only did we do the acropolis but we went by parliament, the Olympic stadium and then we ended the tour going through various markets such as the meat market, fish market and veggie market. Then we went to a market where they sell fresh spices and we had a light tasting/lunch. It was fabulous! It was the perfect amount of history entering without feeling like it was too much.
