We had an amazing time with Leo on our private Day of the Dead tour. Leo picked us up from our resort, told us about the holiday and safely drove us to Santa Maria- where we were provided with some traditional food, hot chocolate and mezcal. We viewed a family's alter, then we walked through the festivities of the city arriving at the cemetery. We walked through the cemetery and were able to place flowers and candles on 'forgotten' graves. Leo was an excellent guide and helped my mother traverse the city and graveyard as she has mobility issues. Would highly recommend!
Hello from paradise. Thank you very much for taking the time to write, we are delighted that you enjoyed our Day of the Dead, without a doubt an experience that is only possible once a year. We hope to see you back very soon.
Excellent experience going from Huatulco to Oaxaca. Post pandemic travel is tricky and requires local knowledge and flexibility that Homitours provided. Lots of places are closed or have limited hours , we would not have seen half of the amazing places if we went alone. The drive itself is beautiful over the mountains road, and our driver was very skilled and careful.
Thank you so much for your comments.
