- Moscheen und Paläste haben eine sehr strenge Kleiderordnung: Frauen müssen lange, lockere Kleidung tragen und sicherstellen, dass ihre Arme und Beine vollständig bedeckt sind. Frauen müssen außerdem jederzeit ihren Kopf bedecken. Für den Besuch der Moschee wird vom Reiseveranstalter bei Bedarf eine lange Abaya mit Kopftuch (lange schwarze Kleidung) bereitgestellt, die zurückgegeben werden muss. Männer dürfen nicht über die Knie hinausschauen und müssen ihre Schultern bedecken. Andernfalls wird ihnen der Zutritt verweigert. Der Reiseveranstalter kann keine Kleidung für Männer bereitstellen.

It’s a very good introduction if first time in Abu Dhabi to get an overview and some facts and anecdotes of the city. We enjoyed the visit to the Grand Mosque despite being very crowded, and some confusion on dress code: My specially bought and used abaya and shayla from Quatar, was not considered appropriate enough with my tights (only covering my knees and partly my legs), and the guide convinced me to be on the safest side possible and lent me a ‘proper’ abaya without any opening in the front not risking to be stopped on entrance. Probably not necessary looking at the other female visitors’ clothing but why take the risk. The guide had nothing to lend to gentlemen, so they needed to take care of their own appearance. Attentive guide and we appreciated the private city tour for our family. Recommendable.

Roshan my tour guide for the Abu Dhabi city tour was excellent. He customized the tour specifically to my interests and went to endless lengths to provide me with a most comprehensive experience of Abu Dhabi - in difficult circumstances with the Iran situation. We did a half day tour of Abu Dhabi today with Shafi. He was extremely punctual , courteous and very knowledgeable about the city and its sites. He tailored the tour to suit our needs. We very much enjoyed our trip and time with Shafi and would highly recommend him as a tour guide

We had an incredible half-day private tour of Abu Dhabi with Sadiq and couldn’t recommend him more. From the moment he picked us up, he was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing the culture and history of the UAE. We started at the dates market, where we learned about the different varieties and sampled some of the best ones. We then visited Qasr Al Watan, which was absolutely stunning, and Sadiq gave us great context about the architecture and symbolism behind everything we saw. Seeing Emirates Palace up close was another highlight, pure luxury and grandeur. The tour concluded at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which was truly breathtaking. Sadiq made sure we understood the cultural significance and key details that we definitely would have missed on our own. He also paced the tour perfectly, giving us enough time to explore and take photos without ever feeling rushed. Overall, it was the perfect way to experience Abu Dhabi in a short amount of time. Our tour guy Shafeek was very nice, easy to understand and very informative. We wanted to start a tour 1 hour later as planned and Shafeek had no problems coming an hour later. Sadly we forgot to take a group photo with him for our memories. Also thumbs up to the Riyago Tourism for flexibility about the booked date a day later due to missing connecting flight. Will consider them also for Dubai tours/safari.
