Premium-Ausflug zu den Alpujarra-Dörfern ab Granada (max. 8)

When the four of us booked this tour we weren't sure what to expect. We just thought it might be nice to get out of the city (Granada) for the day. As it turned out, it was the highlight of our trip. The drive into the mountains was spectacular, and we discovered a part of Spain unlike any other we had been to in six visits. Gonzalo introduced us to village life in the beautiful atmosphere of the Alpujarra. We learned about its history and the trades of the region. And we met some charming residents, one who gave us a branch of fresh cherries from his tree, and a retired teacher with an enormous library and an artistic vibe the four of us deeply related to. We even had an excellent vegetarian lunch at a lovely local restaurant. Thanks to Gonzalo for a perfect tour, one of the best my husband and I have experienced on Trip Advisor.

This was a wonderful trip. Our driver and guide (Samir?) was attentive and provided a wealth of information. He stayed with us most of the time (except for free time) and answered all of our questions. He provided historical overview and current information about the villiages. The whole trip was an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Easy going day trip. Beautiful sights. Cute villages. Our guide worked hard providing context and explanations. Felt very safe. A bit of a tighter space since we are big men.

This day trip to Alpujarra was incredibly well run. Gonzalo is an incredible tour guide and did a great job of bringing around a group of both English and Spanish speakers! We booked our experience through Discovering Spain. Our guide was Gonzales and he was phenomenal! He was fun, informative, and immersed us in the culture. Couldn’t think of a better person to take us on this journey. The roads are very winding and we never felt threatened. We felt very safe in his capable hands. Part of our group spoke English and part spoke Spanish and he balanced it very well. As we walked through the towns, Gonzales seemed to know everyone. He was like the mayor of each and every town! We’d highly recommend Gonzales!!

What an amazing experience! Golanzo our guide was friendly, full of information and filled the day with amazing views of mountains, valleys, white-washed picturesque villages and facts about history and culture that put everything into context. The day ended with a beautiful meal at restaurant belezmin in Pampaneria. After our drive back to the city Golanzo kindly dropped us off right at our hotel - even spotting I had left my phone in the minivan and making sure to leave it at reception for me. What a life-saver!

Gonzalo was our guide and driver, he went out of his way to make sure we experienced the best of the region. We stopped in to see a friend of his who lives in a 400 year old house and learned what it was like for him to be in his late 70's, a retired intellectual who is spending his retirement in a village of 30 people. The entire area we visited was gorgeous, interesting and very rewarding to see. I would recommend this tour and if you have Gonzolo as your guide your time spend here will be truly amazing.

Our guide was extremely kind and professional and went out of his way to make sure we all had a great day, including our 7 year old. The day itself was fantastic. It was lovely to get out of Granada and see the Sierra Nevada and villages of the Alpujarra, which are really wonderful. This tour was excellent value for money and highly recommended.
