Erste und wichtigste Station der Halbtagestour ist die Höhle von Postojna. Die Führung in der Höhle beinhaltet das Gehen und Fahren mit der U-Bahn durch Tunnel, Passagen und riesige Hallen. Im großen Konzertsaal können Sie menschliche Fische im großen Aquarium beobachten, die die berühmtesten Höhlentiere der Welt sind. Denken Sie daran, dass die Temperatur in der Höhle konstant ist und unabhängig von der Jahreszeit immer um die 10 ° C liegt. Sie sollten sich entsprechend anziehen.
In dem Dorf Prejama, das 123 m über der Felswand unter einem natürlichen Torbogen thront, befindet sich die Burg Predjama. Es ist unter dem Guinness-Weltrekordhalter für das größte Schloss der Höhle gelistet und hat den wohlverdienten Ruf, praktisch uneinnehmbar zu sein. Die Predjama-Burg wurde vom Patriarchen von Aquileia im 13. Jahrhundert im gotischen Stil erbaut und im Jahr 1274 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt.

Magnificent cave tour very much enjoyed it in every aspects. Postojna cave is beyond imagination for what nature created these impressive pieces of arts. I wish that everyone able to visit Postojna to do it today before tomorrow.

This trip was very well done, the cave was very well done with the tram through part of cave, tour guide was very knowledgeable. The castle was also done well with the portable audio guides, overall very happy ‼️

We went to the castle and the cave system, which was great. The castle was really interesting, and it was crazy to imagine people building it back in the day. You can snap some real good pictures there. The cave system was unbelievable, definitely worth seeing when you're in Slovenia. I've never seen anything like it, it was like going to another planet. The trip, in its entirety was fantastic, we were sorry to leave but will be back in the future. I'd also like to mention Anna the lady that drove us from Bled, 2 hours to the castle and cave system. She was absolutely wonderful, we can't say enough good things about this lady. She was polite, welcoming and very friendly, and we talked and laughed with her the entire journey. In fact, she was so memorable and nice to be around that we are planning to book on her skiing project in the future, just to see her again. Despite being late due to traffic Anna managed to get our day back on track and took got us to the castle/cave in good time. The dual ticket which seems a bit pricey at first €38 each it is actually really good value to see the vast cave and unique castle. Overall it was a really good day.
The cave and the castle are great! The tour before, between and after the two however is not. Our guide was a friendly guy, but besides being the driver there was little for him to do. There was a guided tour at the cave and an audio tour at the castle. So basically you’re paying for a shuttle that takes you from Ljubljana or Bled to the caves, castle and back... the bus will get you there much cheaper.
