What a fantastic group of people! From the very beginning, booking was so easy, with great communication and emails confirming all the details we needed. Our host, Skye, was absolutely wonderful. She had so much knowledge about Port Arthur and the surrounding areas, and you could really feel her passion for Tasmania and its history. It made for a fantastic and very enjoyable tour. But what really showed us the level of service Tassie Tours provides happened after the tour. I accidentally left my bag on the bus with my credit cards and driver’s licence inside. 😳 I rang them as soon as I realised, and within an hour they had located it and contacted me. By 8:30 the next morning, they had delivered my bag straight back to me! What amazing service and such wonderful people. 👏 I cannot praise Tassie Tours enough. From booking, to the tour itself, to going above and beyond afterwards, the whole experience was exceptional. A huge thank you to Skye and the Tassie Tours team. We would definitely tour with you again and highly recommend you to anyone visiting Tasmania. ❤️

Our tour guide Rob was full of witty remarks and provided a good brief on the history of Port Arthur before we arrived. Overall it was a pleasant experience and nothing was rushed. Crowd size was nothing too crazy and was just right.

A must do so much history. Beautiful scenery and driver Rob was great very knowledgeable and approachable. Only disappointment was Lavender not in bloom at lavender farm.

Dave was excellent guide and very knowledgeable about history of Tasmania. He allowed us plenty of time for us to see things and took us to many interesting places on the way to Port Arthur.

What an incredible tour! Our guide, Nathan, was very knowledgeable on all things Tassie and had a great sense of humour. The bus was very comfortable and pick up and drop off was easy to navigate. We stopped for a quick break and Nathan found some seals in the canal, beautiful to see in the wild. Would highly recommend this tour!

I had a brilliant experience with Tassie Tours on their Port Arthur day tour. Our driver-guide, Pascale, was outstanding – informative, friendly and attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. The tour started promptly on time and ran seamlessly throughout the day, with excellent organisation and timing at every stop. The commentary provided along the journey was exceptional and really helped bring Tasmania's history, culture and landscapes to life. I particularly enjoyed the stop at the Lavender Farm, which was a wonderful addition to the day and a great opportunity to experience another side of Tasmania. Port Arthur itself was confronting, beautiful and deeply moving. It is a place that everyone visiting Tasmania should experience, and having the time to explore and reflect made it even more memorable. Although this is a full-day tour, it never felt tiring as the day is thoughtfully broken up with several interesting stops and locations along the way. The pace was comfortable and well suited to all ages and interests. I would highly recommend Tassie Tours to anyone visiting Tasmania – whether you're travelling as a family, a couple or a solo traveller like me. It was a fantastic day from start to finish and one of the highlights of my trip.
