Pompeji: mit dem Vulkan leben

Super good guide and fun person, we enjoyed our visit trough pompeia and learned a lot about the towns story and its meanings and symbols

What a tour! Michele makes Pompei come alive…you will love walking the streets, entering the residences, and learning all kinds of insights about what day to day life was like in the most advanced civilization on earth. Pompei is Michele’s passion.,.he loves sharing its secrets with you in an intimate way. He will meet you at the train station in Naples and ride with you to Pompei which makes the short trip easier to navigate. We got a parking ticket in Tuscany and since we don’t speak Italian needed help paying it online. Michele said “no worries” and helped us deal with it. Bottom line he cares about the people he guides and you’ll form a bond. That’s not always the case.

Michele was a great guide, knowledgeable and friendly. I was with him in Pompeji and Herculaneum. It was a great pleasure to learn the history and stories behind the two sites.

We met Michele in National Archeological Museum and we really enjoyed the tour, so we booked a whole day with him for Herculaneum and Pompeii afterwards (so we actually did three of the activities listed here). Although Pompeii exhibition areas were quite restricted due to Covid-19, he warned us ahead, and made sure the trip was worth our time with comprehensive explanations. He was friendly, competent, well organized, and he speaks English well :) He also gave us suggestions for the rest of our vacation, and for food! Overall I think he had great judgement to recommend his visitors experiences they would enjoy.
