I learned a lot of (disturbing) things about the Mechicas/Mayas during this very interesting walk. Also a lot about the Spanish history, the result in the current time and the sinking of Mexico City.
The temple is worth having a guide as you don’t get the in depth information from the few English boards. Far more enjoyable and you learn more about the surrounding areas and history.
The guide was an archeologist and extremely knowledgeable. She kept my interest and attention during the whole tour. Impossible to learn from the ruin and museum info all that she shared. Plus she was a delight. I highly recommend this tour!

Very friendly guide who showed us all the highlights of the plaza and pyramids, and also the museum. Fun and interesting. We ended at a nice rooftop also. We definitely recommend if you want to learn more a bit about the area history and have a nice time.

One small problem, no tour guide showed up. The museum was closed the day of our booking. Adding check museum website to my travel list.

Beatrice was very informative, engaging and fun! I learned a lot and was very impressed that the tour went ahead even though there was only me. It was great to go through the museum and so much better to have someone explain exactly what you are looking for and at. I would definitely recommend the tour. I certainly enjoyed the local ice cream at the end! Thank you!!

The tour of the Templor Mayer was excellent. It was Sunday when we went down Mexican citizens get in free, so it was super busy. Bia, our guide, was excellent and she. Thought the ruins to life for us. The tour of the cathedral can be done on your own. The guide was really not necessary.
