- Der Eintritt ist nur für behinderte Besucher mit ihrem Helfer frei, wenn dem Kassierer eine entsprechende Bescheinigung vorgelegt wird.
- Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen Kinder, die bis zum Ende dieses Jahres nicht 8 Jahre alt geworden sind, sowie Kleinkinder keinen Zutritt haben.
- Kinder unter 18 Jahren müssen von einem Erwachsenen begleitet werden. Sie können einen Ausweis anfordern, um das Alter zu bestätigen.
- Handtaschen / Taschen / Gepäck müssen vor dem Besuch an der Garderobe abgegeben und am Ende des Besuchs abgeholt werden.
- Die Besichtigung dauert etwa 35 Minuten. Der Aufstieg ist zu Fuß und es gibt 251 Stufen.
- Der Besuch wird nicht empfohlen für Personen mit Herz-Kreislauf- und Muskelerkrankungen.
- Der Boden ist uneben und rutschig
- Der Reiseleiter wartet nicht länger als 5 Minuten am Treffpunkt, dann beginnt die Tour. Wenn Sie zu spät kommen, können Sie versuchen, den Reiseleiter anzurufen und die Gruppe am Eingang des Schiefen Turms zu erreichen.

While our tour guide was knowledgeable, the tour was both in English and Italian. This was disappointing and feel like only got value for half the time I paid for. Could not ask questions and our guide seemed to favor speaking more with the Italians in the group. At the end, felt disappointed. When I signed up for the tour, there was nothing said that it was to be in multiple languages.

If there are not enough passengers requesting the same language, the tour could be bilingual.” Regarding your impression that the guide spoke more in Italian — if you don’t speak the language, please rest assured that the guide provided the same information in both languages. Italian often requires more words to express the same concepts, which can make it sound longer, even when the content is identical. We know your guide personally and can confidently say they always ensure every guest feels included and free to ask questions, as you can also see reflected in many other reviews before yours. Of course, we all have to see the Tower - but in my opinion the Basilica steals the show. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Our guide Eloise successfully navigated our small group through the mobs getting their shots holding up the tower, while giving us a lot of great information. She was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable. If you're going to visit Pisa, I think you will be disappointed in your visit if you don't invest in a guided tour, a great guide like Eloise adds so much to the experience.
