Our driver Mateo did a wonderful job. He showed us where to go in Pisa. Drove us to Porto venere, Monarola and Riomaggiore. His car was clean and cool on a very hot day. He guided us where to go, sights to see and was easy to get a hold of when we were ready to be picked up!
Awesome experience. Simone is Very knowledge and an excellent driver. He went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience. Recommends 100%
Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the service and your experience with me. I hope to see you soon in our region!
Our driver Simone was amazing. He was very informative and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was truly a pleasure to spend time with such friendly and knowledgeable people about the places you were visiting! I hope to see you again in Italy soon!
*** This is only transportation from the cruise port to Pisa & Cinque Terre, not a tour with a guide.*** The listing is very misleading, buyer beware. Our driver spoke very little English and didn't provide much information. We were picked up at the cruise port and taken to Pisa. We had time in Pisa to walk around and take photos. Then we were driven to the first village in Cinque Terre where we were told to exit the van and speak to the lady at the train station about buying train tickets to get to the other villages. When we asked why we were buying train tickets the driver couldn't explain anything to us due to the language barrier. The driver then left and told us to meet him back at the train station at a specific time, which was much later that day. The way the listing was made, we were under the impression that the driver was taking us via the van from one village to another. We had no idea that we need to buy train tickets and take a train from village to village. So basically all we purchased for over $1000 USD was transportation from the cruise port to Pisa & Cinque Terre, and back to the ship. Then in addition we each had to buy all day train tickets for $27 euro per person. When I reached out to the owner via text he provided me with a different listing that stated something totally different than what the Viator listing stated. He was very sparky and rude, and basically told us $1000 for the transportation was a steal. So overall, I would NOT recommend this tour unless you just need a ride. However, hearing from other people on our cruise there are other tours that are much better.
Fortunately, years of sacrifice and commitment are often rewarded by the kind words our customers give us. Travelers who choose our tours don't have to worry about anything, as you suggested; they simply need to read the product they're purchasing. You clearly haven't done this, but you allow yourself to denigrate our work with this disrespectful review, giving it a single star, as if the driver had left you stranded on the highway. The description and information clearly state that the tour guide and train or boat tickets are not included. If you can't understand what you're reading, I strongly suggest taking a reading and comprehension course so you can book the excursions that best suit you in the future. Regarding pricing, private excursions with a driver and minivan at your disposal COST, and aren't affordable for everyone, and again, the price is clearly stated. If you thought that was excessive, you could always go by bus with 70 other people.
This tour is just basically a driver that takes you to Cinque Terre and Pisa and drops you off and then returns to pick you up. Not sure it was worth the price we paid, I will say that Cinque Terre is simply beautiful. Be ready to navigate the train there, was a little confusing. Pisa was great too, wish we could have spent a little more time there. Overall it was a good trip
When planning this trip I didn’t realize how much there was to see in Piza, just beautiful! The gem of the day was seeing Cinque Terre though!!
Thank you for your review It's nice to know that you liked my hometown Pisa so much!
Picked up at Livorno Port. Took us to Pisa and Cinque Terre. Recommended Mickys, it was delicious. Side note: make sure you take the same train you originally go on. We went on another train unbeknownst to us. They fined us 50 euros each plus the fare. Even though we had other tickets for the train. Besides that: our driver met us where he said and it was easy and a beautiful day.
Beautiful scenery and our driver was great. The roads had a lot more twists and turns than expected and our driver did a great job navigating the narrow, windy roads. He was quiet and did not speak a lot of English, but he was prompt, a very good driver, and pointed out the names of cities, mountain ranges etc. along the way. He will drop you off at any of the 5 cities and pick you up where you choose. You can purchase ferry or train tickets in the cities. Be aware though that these cities involve many steps and steep inclines. It was challenging for my 85 year old dad.
We had a wonderful experience with Claudio as our local guide. He was knowledgeable and helped us get to Pisa and navigate Cinque Terra by train. And when we ran late coming back on the train, Claudio was very communicative and got us back in time to our cruise port. Would highly recommend this tour.
This tour was AMAZING! I would definitely repeat it! My husband, my mom, my kids and I had a wonderful time. The tour made a stop at Pisa before arriving to Cinque Terre! Both places beautiful. We had good amount of time to stop at Pisa and visit three of the Villages in Cinque Terre, eat, snack, got in the water. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ride was very comfortable and with A/C. The driver arrived on time for pick from our cruise and made us get back with plenty of time to get back on our cruise. Thank you Viator! I will definitely continue using you for my future trips :)
thank you so much for your kind words! I am really pleased to know that you spent a pleasant day during your tour with my company Tuscan Vibes, Viator is the portal where you booked. Greetings! Simone
