Diese Tour verbindet zwei berühmte toskanische Kunststädte auf einem malerischen und ausgewogenen Reiseplan, Reiseroute, die Natur, Kultur und Stadterkundung verbindet. Ab Pisa genießen Sie eine Route, die Radwegen und wenig befahrenen Straßen entlang des Flusses Serchio folgt. Während Sie durch den Serchio River Park fahren, erleben Sie friedliche Landschaften und die Atmosphäre des Puccini Trails, verbunden mit Orten, die den Komponisten inspiriert haben. In Lucca angekommen, erreichen Sie die berühmten historischen Mauern der Stadt. Eines der Highlights der Tour ist das Radfahren auf den Mauern von Lucca, das eine einzigartige Möglichkeit bietet, die Stadt von oben zu sehen. Lucca ist eine Stadt der Kunst, Musik, Geschichte und Essen. Erkunden Sie den Guinigi-Turm mit seinem Dachgarten, stöbern Sie durch die Geschäfte entlang der Via Fillungo und besuchen Sie die Piazza dell'Anfiteatro und die Piazza Napoleone. Tuttomondo (1989) ist eine der letzten öffentlichen Wandmalereien, die von Keith Haring vor seinem Tod ausgeführt wurden, und eine der wenigen öffentlichen Arbeiten im Freien, die der Künstler für eine dauerhafte Ausstellung geschaffen hat.
Die kleine Kirche ist eine entzückende Architektur im gotischen Stil und liegt direkt am südlichen Ufer des Flusses Arno.

Das Medicean Aquäduct : Eine Zeitreise Das Medicean Aquädukt ist ein atemberaubendes Meisterwerk der Ingenieurskunst aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, das sich über 6 Kilometer von den Hügeln von San Giuliano Terme direkt ins Herz von Pisa erstreckt. Im Auftrag des Großherzogs der Toskana bilden seine 900+ majestätischen Backsteinbögen eine faszinierende Sichtlinie über die toskanische Landschaft.
San Giuliano Terme : Das Tor zu Wellness und Geschichte San Giuliano Terme liegt am Fuße der Monti Pisani und ist ein charmanter Kurort, der seit der Römerzeit für sein heilendes Thermalwasser bekannt ist. Berühmt als prestigeträchtiger Rückzugsort für europäische Könige und Dichter wie Shelley und Byron im 18. Jahrhundert, bleibt es ein Juwel der Entspannung und Eleganz.
Der Puccini-Radweg : Eine Symphonie aus Natur und Musik Benannt nach dem legendären Opernkomponisten Giacomo Puccini folgt dieser bezaubernde Radweg dem Fluss Serchio, der die historischen Mauern von Lucca verbindet. Es ist eine flache, einfache und unglaublich malerische Route, die Sie in die Landschaften eintaucht, die weltberühmte Opern wie Tosca und Madama Butterfly inspiriert haben.

We used Google maps , hired bikes from Lucca, enjoyed the trails and the roads. There were 5 of us. Two on acoustic bikes, three on E-bikes. The trails are great, on the roads some car drivers not so great (we rode in single file) but overall definitely recommend cycling to and from Lucca-Pisa. Screen shots of my Strava routes here
We don't use google maps for our customers, but we give a different App with our own tested itinerary. We are located in Pisa and not in Lucca, we have a suspect that probably you didn't take the bikes from us!

Excellent service, came from SF and rented a bike to go to the beach. Worked out very well. Helmet and phone holder were extra. No complaints

Rented a bike from Smile & Ride and cycled from Pisa to Lucca. The whole experience was excellent. The bike was in great condition, comfortable, and perfect for the ride. The staff were friendly, helpful, and gave useful advice for the route. The cycle path between Pisa and Lucca is beautiful and easy to follow.
