Werde Pirat für den Tag! Wir machen uns auf den Weg zur Wallilabou Bay - dem Filmset des Films The Pirates of the Caribbean. Die Wallilabou-Bucht wurde im Film Port Royal genannt. Diese Tour bietet Ihnen auch die Möglichkeit, einige der beliebtesten und malerischsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in St. Vincent zu besuchen.

Unsere Tour beginnt am Kreuzfahrtterminal Kingstown. Wir führen Sie durch unsere Hauptstadt Kingstown. Während wir durch Sie fahren, werden Ihnen Informationen zu einigen der historischsten Gebäude wie der Central Police Station, dem Finanzkomplex, dem Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court und unserem Cenotaph gezeigt.
Wir werden durch unseren belebten Marktplatz fahren, auf dem viele Händler und Landwirte ihre lokalen Produkte verkaufen.
Wenn wir weiter durch unsere Hauptstadt Kingstown fahren, fahren wir auf der Straße der Kirche oder der "Hinterstraße", wie sie lokal genannt wird. Hier wird Ihnen eine kurze Geschichte der methodistischen Kirche sowie der anglikanischen und der römisch-katholischen Kirche gezeigt.
Dann fahren wir weiter nach Fort Charlotte. Fort Charlotte ist ein britisch-koloniales Fort, erbaut auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf den Hafen und bietet einen Panoramablick auf die Leeward-Seite der Insel, einschließlich Kingstown, Young Island, Bequia und auch der berühmten Insel Mustique.
Nach unserem Stopp in Fort Charlotte werden wir uns dann dem Leeward High anschließen, der in Nelson Mandela Highway umbenannt wurde. Im Vorübergehen sehen Sie das Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, den Victoria Park - ein kleines Stadion, das während der Karnevalszeit auch als Carnival City bezeichnet wird Industriegebiet Campden Park und weiter in die malerische Buccament Bay. Wir machen hier einen kurzen Stopp für Fotos.
Ein Stück nördlich von Buccament Bay liegt die Siedlung Layou. Layou war eines der ersten Siedlungsgebiete der Franzosen, die sich Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts als erste Europäer in St. Vincent und die Grenadinen niederließen. Die Caribs nutzten es schon damals als eine ihrer Siedlungen, wie die Petroglyphen der Gegend zeigen. Unser nächster Halt ist das Fischerdorf Barrouallie. Barrouallie wurde 1719 von französischen Siedlern gegründet, der ersten europäischen Kolonie auf St. Vincent. Es war einst die Hauptstadt von St. Vincent und den Grenadinen. Mit dem Rest der Insel ging es zwischen den Franzosen und den Briten hin und her und blieb schließlich in deren Händen. In Saint Patrick Parish ist Barrouallie sowohl die größte Stadt als auch die Hauptstadt der Pfarrei. Die Gegend ist bekannt für das Angeln und ist bekannt für "Blackfish". Aufgrund der umliegenden Berge ist die Stadt zu einem Loch geformt, das die Stadt im Laufe der Zeit vor Vulkanausbrüchen geschützt hat.
Unser nächster Halt wird die Wallilabou Bay sein, wo die Eröffnungsszenen des ersten Films der Fluch der Karibik gedreht wurden: Curse of The Black Pearl. Es ist einer der meistbesuchten Orte für Kreuzfahrtpassagiere.
Nur einen Steinwurf entfernt liegt der Wallilabou Heritage Park, der unsere nächste Station sein wird. Es ist ein kleiner Wasserfall. Große Samaan-Bäume bedecken den Pool und die angrenzenden Bereiche und schaffen ein relativ kühles Mikroklima für den Kernbereich des Parks. Diese und andere Pflanzen schaffen einen Lebensraum für verschiedene Vogelarten.
Nach einer lustigen Zeit an den Dark View Falls machen wir uns dann auf den Weg zurück zum Buccament Beach, wo Sie 1 Stunde Zeit haben, um zu schwimmen oder zu schnorcheln.

Für Kreuzfahrtpassagiere ist unser Startpunkt das Kreuzfahrtterminal in Kingstown. Wir werden kurz nach der Einreise am Hafen sein. Sobald Sie das Terminalgebäude verlassen, gehen Sie weiter geradeaus in Richtung Tor 3. Jemand aus unserem Team wird ein Schild mit dem Logo unseres Unternehmens zeigen. Wenn Sie kein Kreuzfahrtpassagier sind, geben Sie bitte den Namen und die Adresse Ihres Hotels an oder kontaktieren Sie uns, um die Abholung zu besprechen.

Highly recommend tour company offering a great range of trips. Good value for money. Always punctual and responsive to questions. Shaf, in particular, is fabulous. A beautiful Vincentian, inside & out 🥰
Our pirates of the Caribbean excursion was truly unforgettable.. Our guide "Chef" was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well-paced, giving my family time to relax and take it all in. I highly recommend this excursion—it’s a perfect way to experience the beauty of the island.
Great tour at a very low price compared to others. It s basically gone around the island. The tour lasted 7 hours instead of 5.. a bit long without lunch, because the stops were 45 Min/1 hour instead of 15/30. Made a lot of bus (small max 22 people) on narrow roads and with many curves, up and down the hills but you saw a lot. Very good and nice driver and guide. Only in: left with 1 hour late and the stop at the beach terribe, to avoid: you have to bring towels, black sand no one has bathed and nothing much... it was preferable to return by ship...
Made a reservation 10 months ago. On the morning of the tour you will not find our reservation, taken hostage at the exit of the port not to go anyway with another operator. Taken away in the car, changed trucks three times. Since we could not go back because we were far from the port, we found ourselves on a tour that had already started halfway, completely different from the one booked. And finally paid full price, maybe even more than those who were on top of the bus. If you arrive by cruise ship stay in the ship, a stop to forget like the tour.
The tour as such was good, partly because you got to see something from the coast. The location itself doesn't show much of the location anymore, is quite touristy, costs additional admission, rather moderate. Afterwards we were still in a small pretty park (extra entrance), and then to swim on the beach. Fort Charlotte was interesting. Driver and guide were nice. Unfortunately, we, who were there at the beginning of the time window at the start of the tour, had to wait a long time for the start of the tour, probably also because the start time was described a bit fuzzy, and the last 5 guests only appeared at the end of the time window.
Learnt a lot about St Vincent and The Grenadines, it's sustainability, the fruits and vegetation on the island, it's people. We love St Vincent and the Grenadines and our guide assisted us in falling deeper in love with it. To you it off we visited Wallilabou Landing, where some parts of Pirates on the Carribean, The Black Pearl, were filmed. Truly beautiful island.
What an amazing tour. Wayne was polite and friendly on WhatsApp, making sure I had all the details I needed to join the tour. Deano was our driver and he was fantastic, as I was sat in the front I couldn’t always hear our guide, so he kept me informed. I didn’t catch our guides name, but she said “You can call me Sexy Lexi”. She too was amazing and so informative. My mum also loved it too. Definitely one to do if you’re a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, and Topdawg Tours certainly make sure you have the best time.
This tour with Top Dawg was a great introduction to St Vincent and The Grenadines. Communication prior to the tour was also professional and detailed, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. My guide Weena was so enthusiastic about showing us her country, and our driver Dino provided us with safe and comfortable transportation. The Pirates of the Caribbean site is worth visiting if you’re an enthusiast, but just bear in mind it’s not been maintained overly well since the movie was produced. It was still worth seeing, but just set your expectations. Overall, I would recommend this tour with Top Dawg for those with limited time on the island and for Pirates of the Caribbean enthusiasts.
"Topdawg" was an excellent driver. The roads are steep and winding, but we always felt safe. He even had time to dish out advice about horn use. The fort visit was educational. Not a lot to see at the Pirates site ($2 charge), but fun to play in the coffins. The waterfall stop was our highlight. We also stopped at a beach and learnt about whale catching!
