Carnival Magic Theme Park in Phuket ist ein lebendiges, familienfreundliches Reiseziel, das den Zauber der thailändischen Kultur mit der Aufregung der Unterhaltung im Karnevalsstil verbindet. Nach über dreijähriger Vorbereitungszeit besticht die River Carnival Show mit einer grandiosen Produktion mit mehr als 150 Schauspielern und 150 Crewmitgliedern. Die massiven Kostüme der Show, die teilweise 8 Meter hoch werden, werden durch rekordverdächtige Prozessionskähne und riesige fliegende Kreaturen ergänzt. Excellent park! The transport was 25 min late to pick us up. Had to call your operator and confirm the driver was on their way. Confusing when we arrived about what order to do things. Missed the parade cuz the time wasn’t posted anywhere. Hard to find a map of the park. However the park was very well maintained, clean, and handicap accessible. Be prepared for a lot of walking. You have to put your phone in a locker during the show cuz of no pics/recording. Locker is free. The light tunnel walkway afterwards is quite long but they offer golf carts to transport you for an extra cost. Carnival games were hard and the odds definitely against you, so pick your games carefully! Buffet dinner had an incredible amount of options. Had a good time! I know the above sounds negative, but that’s cuz we had no map or timeline of what/when to do things. Don’t let that deter you. Follow my timeline below and you’ll love the park. Be sure to check out the very pretty, unique bathrooms. Suggested timeline: Arrive as close to 5:30 as you can. Play games until 6:30. Then eat buffet dinner. Finish by 7:15 for parade start. Be in line for show by 8:15 for 8:30 start time. Runs about 40 min. Follow this immediately with the light tunnel. There is probably another 30 min available for games afterward before the park closes. You then go to the “transport station” and the guides help you get in line for the proper shuttle to return you to your hotel.

The experience is so original! Never seen anything like it before, however the kingdom of lights not opening until 9.30-10.30 makes the end of the evening very rushed to pack it all in. We cut short our visit to the forest to make sure we didn’t miss the bus home. Food is ok and not a rip off and it’s a pleasure to see lockers provided. Free of charge for safe keeping of mobile phones during the show. All in all a good experience

The show is out of this world. Definitely recommend it for everyone of all ages. Only caveat of the place is the buffet. The restaurant itself is “wow”. However, the varied buffet covering a wide range of tastes was below average. None of the food was hot, the majority being cold. We were in section D, which had a limited choice. As such we went into the other areas to find better choices, which there were, but still all tepid. Disappointing to say the least
