Beware of Underground Studio Puerto Vallarta Photo Scam
This company scammed us. We booked a family photo shoot in Nuevo Vallarta. They took a 50% deposit. For the shoot, they told us to meet them on the beach, a ten minute walk from our hotel. Went through the hassle of getting all dressed up for the photos and walking our three small kids to the meeting point in extremely hot weather. Long story short, their photographer never showed up. We sent messages and emails asking for their status and finally, after about an hour, their photographer responded without apologizing, offering to meet up a different day. We told them we wanted my $ back. They ignored us. We kept following up for a refund and they eventually responded that if we wanted a refund, we would need to send them our bank account routing and account number. These guys are scammers. Avoid at all costs.

Hello Brian, we are not scammers and your refund has been processed to your credit card. As mentioned in the email I sent you our photographer unfortunately got confused in the date (with is not an excuse and we apologies for the terrible experience) and since there was no way to reschedule the photo session later that day or the next we sent the requested refund. As mentioned I was out of the country with no access to the internet so I had to wait to come back in order to proceed with the refund. Bruno tried to find a way to send you the refund since he couldn't reach to me either and has no access to our payment platform (again I had no internet at all) and offered to wire your money back. I'm sorry you had to go through this bad experience with us and we'll definitely take a lesson from it to avoid this incident happening in the future. You should see the refund on your statement in up to 5-10 days depending on the issuing bank. I'd be more than happy to give you a photo session 100% free of charge if you ever come back to PV to make it up to you the best way I can.

Great, simple experience! We were paired with a photographer, discussed the day-of where we could meet, confirmed we could meet at the resort. We will definitely used Viator again!

Family Pictures in PV
We always love getting family photos on vacation. Otherwise we don’t get pictures all together! Bruno was very patient with us and our 2 year old. Highly recommend!

Great photography experience
Jonathon from Underground Studio was a fantastic choice for our family photos. We were a large party of nine. He took his time to get great shots of everyone in our party. He was very courteous, always responded quickly to our inquiries. He finished our photo’s and had them emailed back to us early. Great experience!

Amazing sunset photo shoot!
Amazing photo shoot! It was such a fun group activity and a great way to commemorate our trip. Our photographer was great and picked amazing locations for our shoot. Our photos were delivered quickly and were beautiful! Perfect lighting & scenery! I would definitely recommend!

Great session!
Jonathan was great! He came on time and he was very professional throughout the session. There were 8 of us but he was fast with arranging our poses that we had a lot of them. He also listened to what we wanted and took our suggestions. I also like that it was an hour and half session so we were not rushed. Thanks Jonathan!

Family Photo Shoot on the Beach
Jonathan did great work for our family beach photo shoot. He was awesome in getting the kids to cooperate during the shoot (ages 4, 6, and 8). And the end product was excellent. I am very happy I used Jonathan and Underground Studio Photography in PV.
